"OH, don't worry, what just happened is…"

Sakumo just realized something.

He had mixed chakra paper with normal paper while playing with his cute little son, Kakashi and picked up any three papers from the floor at random.

"What happened is that the paper you are holding is normal paper and it will have no reaction when you put chakra in it. Come to my house with me later, we will see your affinity there and I will also treat you guys to some food on the way." Sakumo said while he put his right hand on the back of his head.

Minato was happier than ever after he heard about getting a treat but Yukan was petrified.

He was hoping to get an answer like," You have all the affinities so the paper did not react" but Sakumo's answer just now had broken Yukan from the inside.

"Sensei, how will you compensate for my broken heart and my lost expectations? Give me back my Waku-Waku!"

"I am giving you food, just take it or I may change my mind." Sakumo looked at Yukan.

In the previous month, what Yukan is sure about is that Sakumo is extremely stingy in case of money. It would have been acceptable if he had no money but he has done so many A and S rank missions that it is no problem feeding two 9-year-olds but he always ran away before paying.

Yukan took this opportunity to finally empty Sakumo's pockets as much as he could.

Yukan looked at Minato and Minato was also having the same thoughts.

They both held Sakumo's left and right hand and said," No, sensei, the treat is enough. Let's go now, we are very hungry."

Sakumo did not pay attention to their expression thinking that just how much could 2 kids eat?

Sakumo, with the two kids, proceeded to the commercial area of Konoha.

There were a lot of people in the area with smiles on their faces, food stall owners getting busy in the business and red lights all over…

'Wait a minute! Red lights? Where has Sensei brought us?' Yukan was thinking about how immoral sensei Sakumo was to bring his young students to this kind of place.

Before Yukan could ask anything, he saw a red lantern hanging out of the shop which read,' Ichiraku Ramen' (A/N: I know it wasn't open yet but, here it is.)

'Oh yes, I almost forgot, today is the last day of the red lantern festival. All the things have a 'red lantern festival special'. Did sensei not know about it? Hehe, I'm going to dry out his pockets.'

Sakumo entered the shop with Minato and Yukan.

They took a seat with Sakumo in the centre and Yukan and Minato on his left and right.

"Now order what you want to eat. Eat anything you want, your sensei has enough money to pay for your food." Sakumo said with an arrogant smile on his face.

"I'll take a Red Lantern festival special ramen with extra eggs and …." Yukan gave an extra long and extra pricey order.

When it was Minato's turn, he also ordered the same as Yukan.

Finally, it was Sakumo's turn to order. He opened the menu and looked at the same ramen the two ordered.

The price was the same as how much he got from doing some lower rank missions.

"These kids… I will take a Miso Pork Ramen without the eggs" Sakumo ordered a comparatively bland food.

When their orders came, Yukan and Minato's bowls looked like a rainbow while Sakumo's bowl looked like mud.

Seeing Sakumo's bowl, Yukan felt a little bad for him. Not too much, just a little so he picked up half of his extra egg and gave it to Sakumo. Minato did the same.

Sakumo was about to change his opinion about his students but before he could, Minato spoke.

"Don't think too much, Sensei. I just feel that it would be too much for my little stomach."

Sakumo looked at Yukan and he nodded, agreeing to Minato's words.

'Hah, control Sakumo control, these little devils are your students.' Sakumo tried his best to refrain from using physical force.

Yukan and Minato took a whole hour to finish their orders while Sakumo watched them savour the ramen for half an hour.

After eating and Sakumo emptying his pockets, they left for Sakumo's house.

While walking, Sakumo started to explain some things to Yukan and Minato.

"Now, Minato, you have Wind and water affinities. Seeing your excellent reaction speed and reflexes, I think it would be best for you to use space-type ninjutsu. I will get you the Second-Hokage's Flying Thunder God Technique, you should be able to use it.

As for you, Yukan, you seem to have the same talent in the sword as your father, so I will teach you how to infuse your chakra into your katana."

Hearing Sakumo's last line, Yukan was surprised. He asked Sakumo," Sensei, did you know my father?"

While they were talking, they finally reached Sakumo's house.

"Yup. Come inside I will tell you everything while we sit and I will also give you the chakra paper. The only thing you have to do is find the chakra paper."

Yukan was confused after hearing Sakumo but said nothing and entered the house with the other two.
