Training Hall and System Functions

When I open my eyes I see I'm laying on a bed in a shack-like house. Looking next to me I see an old man sitting in a chair rocking back and forth, reading a book with a cover of a knight carrying a princess. Almost immediately I figure out that I've taken the place of Bell Coronal from Danmachi.

Right before I was going to talk to him I hear the same woman's voice as the one in the void talk { Hello Avery I'm both of the systems you wished for combined to make it easier for you } I was a little startled but regained my calm demeanor.

I was about to ask a few questions but was interrupted with a raspy pride-filled voice

Zeus: "So you've finally woke up slugger?"

I look at him for a few seconds with my cold calculative eyes and respond with a calm free tone

Avery: "I guess I have."

The next thing we talked about for the past few minutes was where I am and Who I am and a lot of other stuff that I'm not going into detail on. Once finished taking with the old geezer I start to ask a few questions to the System which I will now call Diane.

Avery: "Let's start with what your functions are and What did I change in the story?"

The system replies to me with { My functions include: Quests, Inventory, Status, Upgrade, Lottery, and Training Hall. Your 'Upgradeable Sword' is in the inventory. I'll explain the two out-of-the-ordinary functions because I can guess you already know the others. The Training Hall is where you will upgrade your inner and outer strength. The Upgrade function is where you will upgrade your Sword Skills and create your Sword Style. For the next question you didn't change anything expect push back the date in which you were born }

Wow, that's very useful information. After processing if I'm still 20 I look at my height and get the estimate I've just finished puberty with means I'm near the age of the characters in the story. Now that I'm done with that I ask Diane to send me to the Training Hall and get put to sleep and into my mindscape.

The first thing I see is two buttons one says Inner Training and the other Outer Training. Diane tells me that it's essential to have a good foundation and then work on the outer strength. So I press said Inner Training and I get teleported to a place similar to the void but this place has weird balls floating around everywhere.

After a few minutes of observing, Diane says { This exercise will have these balls reside in your body and break and repair your bones over and over again until we start the next training } I shudder when I heard her words but thought back to how hard it would be to survive without power and live in fear. A new determination lit my eyes with pure will and gave me enough mental power to agree to the training and upgrade from weak to strong.

When I tell Diane to start the training she hesitates before letting the balls pass through my skin and into my body to start the training. Once the balls are inside my body I start to feel things cracking and repairing over and over while I cry in agony at this horrifying torture. When this is happening in real life my body looks like it's just fell asleep.

In the next couple of minutes, the balls stop, I ask Diane for an answer when I heard the balls start to form into ants outside of my arms as they start to eat at my skin one by one they start to tear down my skin and after a few minutes they ate all of my skin away. The next moment my skin starts to repair itself until it's finished the ants now turn into needles.

After figuring out what was going to happen next I just braced myself for the worse and boy was I off from the worse it was more agonizing than the 'worst'. The needles once again flew right threw my newly repaired skin and into my muscles, the needles now pierced my muscles and weaved them together with my other muscles it was like weaving a beanie but instead muscles.

After a few minutes of excruciating pain (>_<) the now needles turned into a powder that again went deeper into my body and invaded my cells and organs. My cells were being split and separated and joined with new cells and evolved my cells turning them all into a mixture of white and red blood cells with the same properties of both in one wich means I get faster regeneration. (A/N: btw I have no idea if this is a correct property of both red and white blood cells mutated together)

While my organs on the other hand were getting ripped to shreds to which I couldn't think, or move, or do anything at all until it started to regenerate to which state it's in now. When the powder was done doing its work and when my regeneration was complete the powder completely left my body.

The powder transformed into balls again and started floating around again and after a while, I started to regain my senses and see a gray screen in front of me that says

After observing the screen I asked Diane What these things meant and almost like I was stupid she replied to me with { It is just what it says } and thinking for a while I ask her to show me my status the next moment another screen showed up in front of me.

After checking my stats I went out of my mindscape and went to sleep.
