Ch 7 Stairs (Part3/3)

Having arrived on the fifth floor he saw a giant door instead of the normal stairs. "looks to be the boss room. Well, let's go then leave the boss to me! got it you two!" He said to his buddy and his new knight.

Walking in front of the door and seeing it was beautifully made. Slowly placing his hands on it he felt the wooden feel to it signifying it was made of wood and other materials making it harder than stone.

*Crick* *Swoosh*

Giving his arm strength Jin-Woo slowly opened the door to see a man next to a throne welding two edge swords on his hands while two knights were bellowed him. Jin-Woo looks at him curiously.

"A human," The man said looking at Jin-Woo that was now in shock that a cursed knight can talk. The man walks downwards looking at Jin-Woo.

"How it's nice to live once more! Instead of here, rutting like a being we are" The man said as he charges at Jin-Woo who brought his sword to his chest.

*DIng!* *Clang*

"You two go for the other two" Jin-Woo said to his buddy and new knight as he uses his upper body to push the knight away from him. He looks at his name and it was in red meaning hard.

They both eyed each other before the cursed knight spoke again. "Hmm, worthy opponent! My name is Zed the royal knight of semblem! What is your name before you die" He said to Jin-Woo who casually said his name. "Jin-Woo"

Nodding his head Zed charge at Jin-Woo before spinning like a spinner while going towards Jin-Woo who moves to the side as Zed stops his spinning before using the tip of his two swords to pears Jin-Woo.

Raising the plat surface of his sword Jin-Woo was lunch back a few meters away as his hand go numb from the pressure given by Zed.

"Let me ask you this Jin-Woo" Zed said as he charges once more his sword pointing upwards before he slashes in a vertical angle.

Raising his sword Jin-Woo parid it as a crack like spider webs appeared below his feet where he was standing at. His hand was shaking from pressure.

"Have you felt rage for someone? I felt it before I became a cursed knight always guarding this place"

Zed said as he lifted one of his swords and slash in horizontal angle headed to the side of Jin-Woo who dodge it by moving backward letting Zed's other sword fell to the ground.

"The person who cursed me in this plan was long gone from this world but here I still am standing! days, weeks, months, years go by my life has become torture always dying by the hand of people before I wake up again!"

*Swosh!*

Zed holds his sword like a spear before he lunches it towards Jin-Woo who tilted his head to the side as a line of blood flow from his cheeks.

"It isn't my problem that you got curse but I am sorry for what happened to you"

Jin-Woo said disappearing from where he was appearing behind Zed who turned around meeting Jin-Woos sword going to his head but he ducks it in time. "Ha! Even if you give me pity ill not accept it," Zed said as he charges at Jin-Woo while holding his arm out.

A sword came out of the shadows towards Zed's hand as the sword shined in a dark aura before slashing it towards jin-Woo creating a beam of energy towards him.

Seeing it Jin-Woo held out his hands with a glow of purple energy as a giant hand stop the sword from reaching Jin-Woo before it disappeared like it never existed.

"Ruler's Authority," Jin-Woo said as his eyes glowed his body was being enveloped by darkness.

"it's nighttime," Jin-Woo said as his whole body now looks like the armor as he looks at Zed who was now on guard towards Jin-Woo who was now looking at him.

"Life isn't fair like you were describing," Jin-Woo said as he uses a dash towards Zed who raises his sword upwards meeting Jin-Woos's sword.

*Ding*

Sparks came out of everywhere. "Yes your right life isn't fair but" Jin-Woo disappears in place appearing behind their hed while using vital strike he uses word slash towards Zed's neck as he was lunch forwards rolling to the ground as blood flow out of his neck.

"Without pain, there's no happiness" Slowly walking towards Zed. "Without suffering there's no tomorrow and without sacrifice there no future" Jin-Woo said as he reach Zed who charges at him.

*Clang!*

Bringing his sword to the back while it was in the side Zed slash towards Jin-Woo who leaned to the side. "Yes, sacrifice but it's all for nothing if all of them died!" Zed said as he rotate again like a spinner again towards Jin-Woo.

*Clang* *Clang* *Clang*

Jin-Woo uses the flap surface of his blade to block again Zed as Jin-Woos eyes glowed again and a hand appeared on top of Zed crushing him to the ground.

*Gruah* Pucking blood Zed stared at Jin-Woo who was sweating using rulers authority to the max. "Why do you want to fight? You are tired and in great pain anyways" Jin-Woo said removing ruler's authority from Zed.

Leaning in his sword Zed look at Jin-Woo. "Have you felt pain seeing your loved ones die right in front of you! Have you seen their lifeless eyes in the ground filled with horror! That is what I saw when that man came...But he didn't kill me! He made me suffer here knowing I can't die and would always be here even how many times I die I'll come back!"

"Then I'll give you peace today," Jin-Woo said using vital strike and sword slash towards Zed who tried to block it but was for nothing as the sword cut him in half like butter in a hot knife.

Jin-Woo receives the sound of notification but he didn't mind it he looks at the body of zed and touches it. *Arise*

"Why not come with me? Even if you don't die or see them again at least you can leave this place and forget the past" Jin-Woo said remembering his past. It may not be like the suffering of Zed but it's close.

Pressing yes Jin-Woo places his name to be Zero a new name but also like his old one. Now he looks at Zed's old body.

The surrounding shadows came towards the body of Zed as hundreds of faces appeared in it going towards him as a body stand up looking like Zed but made of shadows. " I am Zero the royal knight of sem... No, I'm Zero your Royal knight awaiting your orders"

Smiling to himself as the sound of notification sounded again

He looks at all three of them before smiling, of course, he turned the other two high knights into shadows but he can't name them like Fenrir, Igritz J., And Zero.

"Let's leave now there's nothing left for us here," Jin-Woo said going back down towards the portal that is now blue in color before stepping outside. "Just like before we left!" He turned around and look at the three of them.

"Igritz J., And Zero goes back to my shadows call you if needed to. Now Fenrir let's head back to the forest and start building out kingdoms. Everything has a step and this is ours"

Hopping at the back of Fenrir they sent out of the cave and into the open to see the moon shining on his dark armor allowing him to see himself better. "Let's go buddy"
