Chapter 3 Meeting a future punching bag

It's been a couple of days since he received the Legendary Sword and he managed to harvest 55 EP. He also filled out his food gauge twice but his growth has been limited by his resources which is rather typical for an Isekai story now but it sucks now that it is his life. On another note he managed to unlock The Legendary Holy Sword but he can't use the fucking thing as he has to be level 100. Unlocking it did allow him to gain a okay sized boost to his stats the Form also has two Skills Judgement which is a massive blast of holy energy and a passive that increased his holy affinity. His default affinity for Holy was 25 and with the boost it became 30. He could also increase affinities using EP but it was probably better off being increased using other means for now.

The Holy Sword boosted his stats by 10 each while his Food Gauge leveled Speed and Physical Defence. He might as well spend his EP he has enough to level his Profession, he gained +5 to Speed, Attack, Physical Defence from the level and his mastery of Apprentice Sword Mastery (ASM) went up. He has been grinding his ASM here and there but he can't really be caught swinging a sword around in his house so the fastest way to master ASM is to level his Profession, hell it still might be the fastest way if he had an abundance amount of EP but alas that is not a card he can play. His Mastery of the Sword Bracelet form is a rather slow going process sure he is using it constantly but he is not in a combat situation so the mastery is slower.

His journey to god-hood is going to have to take a break today he is supposed to play with Irina today. When he arrived at the Shidou residence Irina's father gave him a baffled look before stiffly nodding at him and allowing him in. Ren could recognize that he was getting close to the guy's precious daughter but did the guy really have to give him these strange looks all the time? On another note how was anyone supposed to know Irina is a girl she dressed like a tom-boy all the time and no one ever told him that she was a girl, the only reason he figured it out was because they bathed together and well there is no hiding it at that point.

"REN-KUN!" and just like that his thought process was destroyed by a tiny brown haired missile of cuteness named Irina. She may have dressed like a guy all the time but she is an anime character which means her adorableness is guaranteed. Even now she is cutely glaring at him while rubbing her head.

"Ren-Kun why are you so hard!? I hurt my head" His brain shut down for a bit at the random question but he quickly figured out the context. Irina often tackle hugged him but usually he bowls over from the force of it this time he barely noticed. Increased Physical Defence for the win!

"Ah, I've been training recently! I'm going to be the greatest sword master in the world!" Irina loved shit about heroes and Saint Seiya bullshit so she should totally buy that. Not to mention he can subtly flex on a future top-grade exorcist. Also why the fuck is Irina's father giving him an even stranger look!

"Ohhhh! does that mean Ren-Kun is finally going to play heroes and villains with me!" Irina asked him with literal sparkles in her eyes. Irina and him were 'friends' but he has always been a bit reserved around her as he found her childish games drained him of his mental fortitude. Now he had a reason to go along with her childish antics.

"Yup, let's go to the park." Irina and him could technically go to the park by themselves but he has caught Irina's father lurking in the shadows watching them. The guy must not trust them to be by themselves yet, in the anime Irina and Issei met Odin without being caught by Irina's father or maybe the guy did not dare to interrupt Odin as long as he was not hostile.

"Yay! I can introduce you to Issei-kun now! since there is three of us now you have to be the villain first okay." He would have agreed to that request anyways but Irina probably thought it was a big deal as she activated the ultimate forbidden god slaying technique...Puppy dog eyes.

His original plan for the day did not include meeting Issei but getting in contact with the Titty Emperor early is a nice bonus. Ren did not really know how he was going to treat Issei in the future he had no plans to kill him needlessly but he was certainly going to try to get Rias before him. Rias hit a lot of his buttons in what he found attractive so he planned on pursuing her, sure it would involve him in a lot of bullshit but he was aiming for god-hood anyways and the main plot is probably the best place to power up.

Now back to Issei, the filthy degenerate would have given up his dream for Yuma if she was real but sadly she tried to merk him so he kind of broke there. If he could prevent that maybe get Issei to settle for a single chick? Bah planing out Issei's relationship is not really important in the grand scale let alone something he should be thinking about right now. He should probably respond to Irina at this point as her eyes are starting to water from the forbidden technique.

"Well I don't really mind being the villain, but don't expect me to go easy on the both of you. If you want to defeat the great Ren you are going to have to bring your best!" The line felt cringey as hell but Irina's eyes sparkled at it so he was going to be stuck talking like this for a while...

"Great, let's go!" Just like that Irina grabbed his hand and dragged him to the park. They arrived rather quickly and Irina led him towards a small child with brown anime hair which must have been the protagonist considering the context.

"Issei-Kun! You don't have to be the Villain today I got Ren-Kun to do it today!" Whelp that confirmed it for him but you never know.

"Awesome! I just finished making my ultimate dragon-slaying technique!" Saying that Issei then possed like captain Ginyu which he was sure Issei thought looked cool. Also, the fact that Issei was practicing a 'dragon slaying technique' was hilarious.

"Wait before we start I need to get a stick, I'm the ultimate dark swordsman Azazel! Both of you should probably find a sword too." If he was going to be forced to say ridiculous lines he could at least teak the nose of the plot by mention future shit. The two kids were clearly impressed by the cringe as they nodded quickly to find their own 'sword'.

He looked around for several twigs in case he needed more than one, once he had five of them he found a secluded bush and went in. He did not want anyone seeing what he was about to do. He switched Sword forms and pressed the twigs into the Gem with a flash of light they disappeared and he got a screen pop up.

Huh the rest of the gauges were not showing up, they must only show up if he used the methods on them first. The Sword looked like a stick obviously but it's the type of stick kids spend days looking for so they can have a real 'sword' to play with. Luckily enough for his plan, the gem is small and located on the 'hilt' of the stick so he can hide it with his hand pretty easily. Yup his grand plan was to grind out EP by using this Sword to play with Irina and Issei pretty regularly, hell he could swing it around his house without his parents asking why he was doing it.

Honestly, this plan sucked sure it would get him some gains but even if he did this for the next ten years he would barely reach the level of a low-class devil and that's not good enough but this is just step one and he still had a lot of time to think of better methods.

He went out of the bush to find Issei and Irina, he found them fairly quickly and they both had their own swords. they spotted him as soon as he approached.

"Woah where did you find that Ren! It's so cool!" It was apparently pretty easy to impress Issei but considering the jealous looks Irina was giving him it was probably kids being impressed he found a 'treasure' if they only knew that he had an actual treasure.

"Yup this is my ultimate god slaying sword the Blazer Shining Sword of Pure Darkness." Maybe he should cool it a bit with the references if Azazel ever found out a kid somehow knew things he should not know he would end up being dissected rather quickly.

"Well, my sword is called Balor The Light that pieces the sky!" Irina declared while pointing her sword towards the sky.

"OH Oh! My Sword is Ragnork the Fang that bites dragons!" Issei also pointed his sword to the sky while crossing swords with Irina. They both looked at him expectantly and he got what he was supposed to do oddly enough.

"Well then let me repeat myself this the Blazer Shining Sword of Pure Darkness!" He then pointed towards the sky and crossed swords with the. It was surprisingly fun to play around like this.

"Alright since I'm the villain that means both of you can attack me together but The Ultimate Dark Swordsman Azazel is not an easy opponent!" Honestly with his skill Apprentice Sword Mastery and his bullshit stats he could probably kick both of their asses with a hand-tied behind his back.

The both of them clearly took offense to that as they looked at each other and nodded.

"There is no need for the both of us The Dragon Slaying Knight Kalsted is more than enough to defeat you Azazel!" With that said, Issei charged at him in a form that his skill called sloppy. He swung his sword quickly and lightly at Issei's wrist and Issei dropped his sword.

"Fool I told you the Dark Swordsman Azazel is not an easy foe and you come running here by yourself!" Issei looked dumbfounded at his dropped sword for a second before picking it up and grinning.

"I guess your right, I did take you too lightly." Issei then looked at Irina and nodded.

"Since your so strong Azazel then I guess Kalsted will need the help of Havel the Holy Burning Light of God!" Irina then came charging at him her stance was just as bad as Issei's but unlike Issei she was not by herself. He could crush the both of them but since they were playing he clashed swords with them over and over. He noticed something rather quickly Issei and Irina's stances were getting better rather quickly apparently their talent was showcasing itself.

Still, the both of them were still children and they grew tired quickly as they were playing at a rather fast pace. As soon as the both of them admitted defeat a screen popped up in front of him which was rather shocking.

Well that was interesting he did not think a spar would be counted as a defeated foe. Not to mention the Dragon Essence he grinned savagely at the panting Issei the future Titty Emperor is going to find himself beaten by Ren a lot from now on.
