23. Weapon Levels

Elder Shi nearly pulled out his hairs trying to teach Zoro, he counted his lucky stars seeing Zoro was able to pickup up atleast the blueprint and materials part, as for the characteristics part.... till today Zoro merely learned about four ores and three complimentary items.

A month has passed since Zoro left Maple city, he had changed a lot in this time as well. His strength grew from early stage warrior master to mid stage and had stabilised.

Zoro could now be considered to have entered the first step to become a forger. Elder Shi was satisfied with Zoro's progress though he nearly went mad trying to teach him but nonetheless Zoro was a genius.

But he was clearly a weird genius, Zoro barely remembered few attributes of materials until one day Elder Shi showed him the ores and thought him. Zoro was able to easily remember these materials one he touched them.

As a swordsman Zoro is able to judge how strong a weapon is and of course by default he can also identify how strong a material is as well.

Elder Shi finally found the right method to teach Zoro but if he want to extend Zoro's knowledge base then they would have to reach Forger Headquarters where his lab as well as his research was.

After a month of travel both of them were able to reach Orchid city. Zoro was astonished to see the size of this city, it was atleast three times bigger than Maple city and maple city could be considered big in his opinion.

" Haha, don't be surprised. Orchid city has branches of several prominent occupations like pill masters, forgers, healers..... it's no surprise if the city is big since it's trade is far more flourishing than Maple city."

Zoro was excited. He was finally able to hear the term pill masters. According to what he know a pill master is able to create pill with astonishing effects and Zoro was in need of just that.

Along the way Elder Shi provided him with a pill, just the ordinary ones to increase Qi and shockingly Zoro was able to completely absorb the medicinal properties.

" Old man, how much would it cost to buy a body strengthening pill? "

" Hmm.... if it's just Grade two inferior quality then few hundred but it it's superior then couple of thousands would do. Anything higher isn't available here."

Zoro's mouth twitched hearing those prices, luckily he had enough beast core to last him for some time

Every occupation has its ranking. And these rankings are based on the level of a warrior.

For example, forgers. Forging is classified into nine levels. Each weapon can be graded from one to nine and each grade corresponds to that level Warrior.

A warrior apprentice could only use a grade one weapon, a Grade two weapon would consume their Qi way too quickly and thus most warriors prefer weapon corresponding to their power level which could help them bring out there max strength.

Each graded weapon is divided into four qualities. Inferior, Superior, Top and Best.

Just like forgers, pills also has such classification. A grade one pill can only be taken by a warrior apprentice, a grade two pill would be too much of a risk since their bodies won't be able to withstand such huge energies.

Likewise a grade one pill is useless to warrior masters since the amount of energy in it would be scant and useless.

Elder Shi dragged Zoro towards the Forger Association branch. His face was beaming since now he can test Zoro's talent and he was sure the kid was atleast a seven star talent.

A splendid building came into their view. Two guards with warrior grandmaster strength stood on both sides of the front door. Their face was void of any expression as they scanned the surroundings.

Elder Shi nonchalantly walked towards the door with Zoro behind him.

" Halt! State your purpose! "

Elder Shi raised an eyebrow.

" Move. I am here to test my disciple."

The guards were surprised and said immediately.

" Please leave. This isn't a talent testing platform."

Puffff..

Zoro couldn't hold his laugh. Elder Shi's face turned blue hearing the guards, he was about to go wild when a voice broke him off.

" I would like to enter."

A middle-aged man walked towards the Forger building. A young woman tagged behind him with an arrogant attitude. The guards bowed seeing this man.

" Please enter, the branch master is waiting for you."

The young lady and that middle aged man looked at Elder Shi and Zoro from the corner of their eyes and entered. They showed complete discard towards this old man and a weary boy.

Elder Shi blew his top

" Why the fuck can they enter!?! "

The guards replied coldly.

" He is the clan leader of Blaze family. What are you? "

' Shit! They did it now!! '

Zoro tactically removed himself. During the last month he found out something about the old man, he was hot tempered. Towards Zoro he was kind and accomodating but to outsiders..... god rest their soul.

Elder Shi smiled madly. His aura grew heavier as it enveloped the two guards.

The guards felt their knees buckle, it seemed as if a mountain was resting on their shoulders. Their eyes showed horror as they looked at the unkempt old man.

" Who am I? I am merely the first elder of Forger Association. Of course such a status should be nothing compared to the Blaze Family right? And here, this token should be enough to prove my status."

Elder Shi flipped his palm, a round token with the engraving of a flame appeared.

Boom!

An explosion went inside the guards head. Their body was shivering from fright, what kind of powerful existence was the first elder of Forger guild? What kind of status did he represent?

And they had the guts to provoke him.

" Senior.... we... we didn't know. Please... please forgive us."

Elder Shi smiled coldly.

" How nice would it be if everything could be solved with an apology. You will wait for your punishment after I am done with my matters."

The guards could only numbly nod as Elder Shi and Zoro walked inside. The idea of escaping flashed in their minds but they quickly removed it.

Zoro was unfazed by such situation. He walked calmly beside Elder Shi.

He was an old man who had seen his fare share of the world, he had seen its beauty as well as it's cruelty. He was a man forged by blood and time.

Elder Shi turned back and smirked.

" Let's see how talented you are."
