I walked into the restaurant the day after the cave in event, seeing a girl with yellow markings on their face and wearing a brown colored cloak. That must be her... I waved to her as she looked up, seeing me and waved me over. I walked over to the girl as she handed me a map copy of a hidden dungeon.

"Thanks."

"Remember to pay up."

I handed her a pouch-full of Col as she smirked, "Pleasure doing business' with you." as she puts the pouch of col away. "It's not often you have to find the right info-broker Argo." he shakes her hand as she got up and left the resturant.

I remembered something as I checked the date. "December 7th, 2022..." I thought as I saw the date and swiped away the calendar. I should get going then... I thought, getting up from my seat and left shortly after Argo. I headed into Darkwood Forest and down a pathway as I looked forward thinking to myself Toru wouldn't be mad with me if I went ahead of her... as I stopped halfway and opened my menu, checking my stats.

I closed my stats menu and swiped up. I then headed towards the next town, Hearing the bushes rustling in the sidelines, spotting multiple rustle at the same time. I put my guard up as I had a hunch, shouting, "Stop trying to hide, if you're gonna fight then show yourself."

"So the rumors were true..."

The voice behind the tree said as they came out and I saw an orange indicator, I sighed, replying, "A PKer.. and what's this rumor..." in a bitter tone. "There's this...RUMOR...Going around, of a player in white and black, a large black star on the back fighting and even killed Kuradeel of the KoB..." They said. I replied "So what.. There could be a thousand others that have the same coat.." trying to stall.

"No, you see here... The description is... Brown hair, Green eyes, Peachy skin, Bangs that split off from the left... and lookie here..."

The PKer said as he held up what was a bounty poster with a description at the bottom. Oh great... I then replied to him "Alright you've said enough." as I readied my sword and lunged forward. "Ah ah ah! Not so fast!!" The PKer said as I swung and he jumped back with a damn grin on his face. A rustle from behind me as another PKer jumped out. I dodged a dagger swing with a graze to my upper shoulder, leaving a shallow red mark.

Are there any more of these damn people I don't know about...

I thought as my vision began to blur up and I stumbled back and down a knee. I heard an echoed laughter as my vision was contorting and swirling a bit. I realized a 3 minute Nausea effect displayed near my health bar.

Tipped weapons...I thought these fuckers couldn't get anymore sadistic...

I thought as I stood up, my legs shaking a bit as I looked at the two PKers. one walked over and threw a punch. I stumbled back as one stabbed me in the side, dropping my health and stacking the nausea effect from 3 minutes to 6. "I thought you would put up more of a challenge..." One said as they pulled the dagger out and swung their dagger at my face. I had more time to react as I sluggishly blocked it, slipping on a step and fell backwards, landing on my back.

"What happened to the guy who killed Kuradeel of the KoB."

One of them said mockingly, stomping on my chest as I felt the pain, The nausea making it considerably harder for me to fight properly.

"Go...Go eat a D**k..."

I said as I saw my health in the yellow section, I then saw the person get punched off as the nasuea effect suddenly dissipated. "Kirin!" A faint voice said as the display for Nasua went away, I looked at who came to my rescue, It was Toru as she said "Are you alright Kirin!" as I nodded saying "How did you find me?" as she helped me up, tossing away an empty antidote.

"I found this short girl in a brown cloak, she told me you were in trouble."

"Well I have to thank Argo later then."

I looked over as I parried a dagger sneak attack, slashing the player across their chest diagonally. I saw their health drastically drop from green to low yellow. Toru raised her fists up as she went after the other PKer. They took out their dagger as they swung a bit wide as Toru weaved around and slammed a liver blow with her left fist.

The man jerked slightly from the impact as she lands a right straight on their midsection, sending them stumbling back holding their midsection as their health dropped to high yellow. Meanwhile I was dodging rather easily this time, ducking under a swipe and jumping back from a vertical slash. I then slashed the player as they blocked the hit, he tried to throw a counter slash as I parried the hit and disarmed the PKer of their tipped weapon.

I pointed my sword at their throat as they stopped immediately, raising their hands as they seemed frightened. "So, Would the person who killed Kuradeel set you free? or would they kill you right here?" I questioned him, although he kept silent about the answer as I awaited for a response.

"Nothing huh...Suit yourself."

I got into a horizontal slash motion as I swung, hearing them shout "WAIT!" as I had stopped my sword right at their neck once again, this time closer at the base. "You have five words before I-" My sentence was cut short by a louder voice, "Kirin-Kun! Don't kill!" Toru was the one shouting. He looked at her as it was enough time and a distraction to hear footsteps going away from me.

"Oh god f**king-"

The PKer had already gained some distance as I chased after him, beginning to close the distance and tackled him to the ground. Once the both of us slammed straight into the dirt, I raised my sword and jammed it into his left shoulder, dropping his health down more. I heard him cry out in pain as I got up breathing a bit heavily.

"Listen here...I will kill you the next time you show your face around me or my friends...That's a promise... YOU GOT THAT!"

The PKer nodded continuously as I grabbed the handle and pulled it out of his shoulder. They ran off as quickly as they could as I sheathed my sword, turning around to take a hard slap to the face. I held my cheek as it was red with a hand mark on it. "You would have killed someone stupid!!!" She shouted in Japanese, I looked at her as I didn't know what to say.

she clenched her hands into a fist as she wanted to punch me, but in the end she couldn't bring herself to do it. "Town's near...Let's go..." She said to me, walking ahead as I followed shortly after.
