Chapter 4 Summon

Drifting in a silent dream Astral lost track of time and just let herself float.

"Do you want a second chance to life?" An ethereal voice cuts through the stillness.

"Hell yeah I want." Astral says in a carefree tone which seems to surprise the owner of the voice.

"You sound strangely cheerful for someone who has experienced how his every believe and goal got shattered." The ethereal voice says.

"I had more than enough time to think about it and come to terms with it, or did you expect me to stay stuck on my past mistakes instead of trying to move on?" Astral says amused which causes the ethereal voice to go silent for a moment.

"Anyway, I can give you the chance to travel once again in the world, but it won't be the one you know. I'm also not able to give you your old body back as the boundaries between worlds are strong and won't allow physical things to travel between them." The voice explains.

"Because of that you will be in a special situation once you arrive in this world. You have to find a way to create a body for your soul if you wish to stay in that world or you let yourself be driven of and return here where I will send you into another one." It finishes.

"Sounds good to me but you wouldn't do that for free right? So just tell me what you want from me." Astral calmly says.

"Good that we understand each other, about the thing that I want form you. I want that you find an artefact that is hidden in this world and sacrifice it to me as it is not possible for you to take it along." The ethereal voice says.

"Sure goes for me as long as it is within my capabilities and doesn't require me to give up things that I hold dear." Astral agrees while attaching some restrictions on the request.

"Goes clear with me, then good luck in the new life Astral Selfor." With this goodbye everything went silent.

Inside a shed next to Japanese styled house a red haired body in brown school uniform and blood on his cheek and chest sits on the ground while a blue haired man in a blue full body suit with metal parts stands in front of him and pointing a red spear at him.

The two seem to be in a epic dialog about the heroic dream of the redhaired boy as he says to the blue haired man.

"My life was spared.

My life was saved, so I'm not going to die that easily!

I have to live and fulfill my obligations,

and I can't do that if I'm dead." As he says these words a red glow appears on his left hand and seal of some kind starts to appear.

As if a reaction to the appearing seal the blue haired man with the red spear thrusts forward intending to impale the red haired boy.

"I'm not gonna be killed in a place like this-" The boy says unhindered by the fast advancing spear.

"-for no good reason by a guy like you, who kills people like its nothing!" With this scream filled with determination a powerful artifact stored inside the boy starts to react in tandem with a silver like magic circle inside the shed.

Using the artifact as an catalyst and the speech as a call, the magic circle starts to glow and a person manifest on top.

Reacting lightning fast the newly manifested person kicked of the ground and swings his arm in wide arc at the shocked face of the blue haired man.

"Surprise!" The person yells in a feminine voice as the fist clad in black metal connects with the jaw of the man.

[Force technique: Impact]

The blue haired man had no time to react as a powerful force explodes out of the fist and sends him flying out of the door all the way through the wall surrounding the estate.

Shocked by the sudden happenings the red haired boy just sits there with wide open mouth staring at the black knight that stands in front of the door shaking his hand with which he just hit the man with the spear.

`The hell is going on here?` Astral thinks as she observes the hole through which she sent the blue spear guy with interest completely ignoring the boy behind her.

"A- eh Who are you?" The red haired boy asks after he regained his wits.

Turning her head to lock at the boy she freezes up for a moment as she realizes that something is not right with him.

Narrowing her eyes and activating some of her analyze skills she immediately understood what this something was.

"I'm surprised that I don't even have to do anything and I already found the artifact that he wanted." She says before side-stepping to dodge the spear of the blue spear guy.

"It isn't very wise to not focus on the enemy don't you think?" The blue haired man says.

Turning around to lock the guy in the face Astral answers carefree.

"Your right, its just that Im very confused right now so could you be so nice and give me at least an name before we continue this?"

"You can just call me lancer." Lancer says.

"Sure Lancer, I'm Astral Selfor pleasure meeting you and goodbye." Saying her last piece Astral once again kicks of the ground and punches at the stomach of Lancer.

Better prepared this time, Lancer blocks her punch with his spear and opens his mouth to let out some remarks but got cut off by the sudden force that travels unhindered by his spear through his body and sends him flying once again.

"Hahaha… This time I hit him better." Astral laughs as she watches Lancer fly through the sky.
