Where am I?

Somewhere in a dark forest

a young boy opens his eyes in the dark forest and the first thing he sees is the starry sky 'beautiful' he thought but suddenly he snaps out of it

'where is this?' he thought in slight panic as he suddenly sat up and looked around but sadly for the boy he couldn't see very far as it was nighttime which added to his panic trying to calm down he felt a cool feeling from his right palm which instantly calmed him down

as he looked down to his right hand he saw a silver sword of about 80 cm length and 7 cm width in his palm that gave him a very intimate feeling undoubtedly the cool feeling just now came from this sword

tearing his gaze away from the sword he began to look around despite the bad vision

'a Forest why am i here' he thought taken aback by the sight in front of him there he saw a massive tree with a diameter of at least 4 meters

"ugh" suddenly moaning in pain he held his head as he was flooded with unfamiliar memories while the pain slowly subsided the boys eyes began to shine with light of excitement

'this place is the forest of swords' he thought absentmindedly as he sat on the cold ground getting up from the ground with the sword in hand he began to walk cautiously into a random direction trying to make as little noise as possible

'it's too dangerous to sit like that in the open I need to find a place to hide' he thought while sneaking around luckily for him the trees were extremely big and strong enough to carry his weight

reaching a tree that was the nearest to him he noticed that the tree was way to big to climb for him

'damn' he cursed in his mind from the memories he understood how dangerous this place is animals and monsters are crawling everywhere lucky for him that he is at the outskirts of the forest and stronger animals almost never appear here

seeing that it was to no avail trying to climb a tree he started to walk further into the forest in search of a hiding place

"ssssssssss" hearing that with his ears he almost instantly stopped and began scanning the surroundings with his sharp gaze while starting to slowly retreat not far away a snake at least 3 meters long was looking at the boy with its chilling eyes

"sssssssss" this time the boy was able to locate the snake to his left but as soon as he turned to it the snake lunged at the boy with lightning fast speed

"Wha..." shouting in surprise the boy had no time to react 'I'm not willing' he screamed in his head and his eyes became blank suddenly time froze everything slowed down to an incredible level the snake in the air moments away from biting the boy into his leg and the boy himself

suddenly a silver light exploded in the darkness and split the snake in half blood splashed everywhere and time resumed the second the snake fell to the ground the eyes of the boy slowly regained their light

"Wha... what just happened" he said out of breath looking around there he saw the snake split in half wriggling on the ground in pain frightened the boy backed away but a cool sensation calmed him quickly down deciding not to thing further for the time being he looked at the snake wriggling in it's own blood with complex emotions in his eyes 'this is the world survival of the fittest' he thought as his eyes began showing an indifferent light

slashing onto the head of the snake splitting the head in half after confirming that the snake died

feeling his empty stomach he began thinking 'I should take it with me to eat' making the decision to eat it began draining the blood while doing this he got splashed with more blood but he still indifferently dismembered the snake storing the meat in some big leaves he dug a small hole and buried it

'the snake should have a place to live' he thought while looking around and indeed he saw not far from him a small cave walking closer to the cave his eyes lit up because the cave was spacious enough to at least to shelter him from the winds and rain

"ugh" he groaned after smelling the odor of the cave deciding to clean it up before doing anything else he started cleaning the cave after finishing that he sat down to inspect himself

'no injuries but my clothes are stained with blood good that there are black ones' he thought

feeling something in his pocket he took it out and saw that it was a card and it shone with a dim light 'why didn't I notice it until now' he thought puzzled looking at the card closer he saw something that baffled him at the same time two words suddenly appeared in his mind 'status card' he thought with amazement at the functions of it
