SWITCH

Some girls dream of marrying a prince. But a few of this "some girls" take dreaming to a whole new level. On the red corner, we have Erika Hatsugawa, a self-proclaimed "the future empress of Japan", who has been in love with the Emperor's son since she first saw the Emperor's son....in pictures. However, her dream seems to contradict with what fate gave her. Being in the type of status that she is in at the moment, it is bizarre how she set her eyes on actually marrying the prince. It is almost impossible (even me as a writer finds it it impossible) but there's always the "what-if" phenomenon. Erika's family was never blessed with fortune. They are living the substandard life, eating substandard food, and having substandard ways, but Erika never thought being in that state forever. Her goals are so high, she is actually flaring the "monarch's life" within her it started to become quite cringing for the people around her. Meanwhile on the blue corner, we have Kairo Moriyama, who is probably the most boring person Erika has ever met. There is no special role for him except that he's actually everywhere Erika is. It was rude to think this way though, since this Kairo Moriyama is blessed with looks and overwhelming charisma, which is something Erika quite hated about him, making him the main target for her bullying. However, given the fact that he's indeed everywhere, it is safe to assume that this is destiny's game. Who would've thought that Kairo Moriyama is the main key to make her dreams come true. Will Erika succeed in attaining the life that she wanted? Will there be a switch for her dreams to come true and change her life from poverty to wealth? Explore her story as you join this ride where dreams can come true..... or not. This is SWITCH.

Would you look at that

"No I am not washing the dishes! And no, I wouldn't do it because I am the future empress of Japan! I gotta have flawless hands, mom!"

Only 10 minutes left before she marathons her way to school, and great, now her lip gloss is gone.

"Nee-san, I would NOT wash the dishes for you again because of your stupid "empress of Japan" declaration. IT WOULDN'T EVEN HAPPEN, stop saying that!"

"First of all, it is Nee-SAMA for you, you little runt.", the correction followed a flick on her brother's forehead. "OW! I hope you trip on your way to school to graze your empress legs!"

"And that, would happen in like.... Your dreams. BLEH! I'll be on my way!~"

"Just so you know, the dishes will welcome you once again when you get back. It'll be your royal welcome."

"MOOOOOM!!"

"Take care, honey."

"I shall. SEE YOU~"

Today marks the first day of the second semester of Erika Hatsugawa's freshman year. And today marks another marathon to catch up the morning bus. She had to hold her bag with her pinky raised, identifying herself as classy, but her legs are running like a someone trying to slip in a train on its warning buzzer.

The goal was reached and her hair was a disaster, which was amazingly fixed in a few seconds, and therefore glitters again. Erika Hatsugawa, a lady who (tries) to live the royal life, is now waiting for the bus.

"Dude, look at her. Isn't she so pretty!"

"Isn't that a Seito Gakuen Uniform? Uwaaahh... That's extreme."

"She looks extreme as well. Look at how gorgeous she is."

"Introduce yourself if you badly wanna know her."

"No way, that's embarassing!"

"Well nothing will happen if you just stand here....GO!"

The guy was pushed exactly beside Erika. A wild school boy suddenly appeared. What will you do?

"E... Excuse me... Are you on your way to sch---"

"Why, do you have a car? An AC? An air freshener with the scent of lavender? If not, then leave me alone. I'm late."

"What? You're literally about to take a bus. Why find a ca---?"

"Coz I like buses."

"Huh?!"

"Do you have a bus instead? An AC? An air freshener with the scent of lave----"

The confused guy was suddenly dragged by his companion to under the shed.

"Dude, wrong girl. I just realized that was Erika Hatsugawa! You know the delusional girl blabbering about being the empress of Japan the neighbors are talking about?! "

"Seriously?! That's her?! Shit, we better get going!"

"Yeah, let's go!"

And now the one was left was the delusional girl.

"What's wrong with them? Suddenly appearing and now suddenly leaving. Oh well, they don't have a car so....."

Technically its her tactic to ward off random guys trying to hit on her. She has only one goal in mind after all.

The bus has arrived after that commotion and she entered the vehicle while slightly lifting her skirt, tiptoeing her way inside and taking her time.

"HURRY UP! WE'RE LATE!" A sudden shout was heard from the passengers behind her.

"TCH. FINE! Fine! Adults can't even wait."

She quickly went inside the bus and discovered that there were no spare seats for her. She pouted but it's not like she can do anything about it, so she just finds a handle bar where she can hold on to. It was just then that it sunk in to her that her legs were tired because of all the running. Her legs trembled as she slowly slipped down the bar she was holding on to.

"A... Are you okay miss? If you don't mind you can take my seat."

"Really? Is that oka----"

Just suddenly, the bus hit its break and she fell on the boy's lap because of the motion. Erika yelped loudly and everyone looked at her and the boy.

"Tsk tsk tsk.... Couples nowadays, really."

"Shameless..."

As those words echoed inside the bus, Erika quickly stood up and held her posture back to holding the bar.

"I'm really.... Really.... REALLY SORRY FOR THAT!" She bowed quickly towards the boy.

The boy was frozen for a few seconds before he got back into the real world and gasped at her apology. "No... NO! It's alright. Take my seat! It's dangerous to stand up."

"O.. Okay then... If you say so.. Just so you know, you offered your seat okay! I did not ask for it!"

"R...right."

Erika then sat after switching seats with this random guy. He just smiled at her, and with that, she slightly smiled back. He's wearing casual clothes, probably on his way down town or something.

The bus halted and she realized it was her stop. She looked at the boy and bowed a bit. "Thank you.... Uhhh..."

"Uhhh.... What?"

"Uhhh---I'm late! GOTTA GO!"

"Okay! I'M LATE TOO!"

Just when Erika started running, she saw the boy run behind her in the same direction as well.

"Seriously?! Here?! "

"Seito Gakuen right? Hehehe I guess we're in the same school!"

"Would you look at that. Hahaha!"

------

"And in the same classroom....?!"

"Introduce yourself." The teacher said and patted the boy's back.

"Um.... I'm Kairo Moriyama, age 16..... "

There was a long pause after that.

..... That's all."

That was weird. Erika was staring at the boy at the front of the classroom, which was the same boy in the bus, and the same boy running with her. She was staring so deeply that when she met eyes with Kairo, the boy flinched a bit and smiled awkwardly.

"That was a very short introduction. Oh well, there is a spare seat beside Miss Hatsugawa there at the back."

"Thank you, sensei."

Kairo walked cautiously as his classmates looked at him curiously. He faced forward and now, Erika was staring at him.

"Would you look at that...." Kairo mumbled softly as he placed his bag on the desk's side. He looked at Erika and flinched a bit. "Don't look that much, I am surprised too!"

"I know! What are the odds of actually having you with me here! Anyway, I'm Erika Hatsugawa... Introductions have been cut back there at the bus." she laughed a bit, exposing her dimples with her smile.

"Kairo Moriyama."

"I heard your introduction, dummy."

"Nice...to meet you?"

"And you too."

The two laughed at the situation they've been into.

"YOU THERE AT THE BACK. STOP GIGGLING!"

The two twitched straight up in a proper sitting position.
