Chapter 30: Recon
Andrew watched as Ivy came out of his brother’s room, followed by a very bright and lively Steve.
He wasn’t sure if his heart and sanity could have stayed intact this time if he had attempted to take his life. As they had driven to the house, all he had kept seeing was the same picture he had seen when he had found his brother hanging.
“Bro, you are officially my hero! Bringing Ivy Benson here! You are the best,” Steve said.
Ivy sat on one of the couches in his parent’s living room and smiled shyly.
“Good day, Mr. and Mrs. Logan. I wish we could have met under different circumstances,” Ivy greeted Andrew’s parents.
Mrs. Logan looked very happy at the fact that her son was alright. Maybe the bonus was that Andrew hadn’t destroyed her door in the process of finding out if Steve was alright. However, after everything that happened, desperate situations called for desperate measures.
