Chapter 15: The Other Guy
“So I am to sit here and keep an eye on you during your date. What was that signal you said you will give that means I have to save you?” Jane asked.
“I will stroke my cheek with three fingers. That means SOS!” Ivy replied.
Ivy and Jane had arrived early at Halo Bar. Ivy had asked Jane to shadow her date in case she acted stupid and drank too much or her date tried to slip something in her drink.
Jane nodded, “Got it! I will seat at the corner of the bar and keep my eye on you acting like a normal patron. Maybe we can have code names for each other or something.”
Ivy rolled her eyes, “We are not in some spy movie.”
“I know that but this seems fun. I have never done this. Do you think I should have worn a disguise? Maybe a black Cleopatra wig, floppy hat and oh-oh some oversize sunglasses!”
