A Smile Worth Nothing
A picture is worth a thousand words, a smile is worth nothing. More often than not, when you smile for the camera, half the time your smile isn't genuine. You'd either smile to not stand out in a group photo, or smile out of courtesy. In the world of show business, everybody wears a mask. Every smile is fake, and every expression is a lie. For Nova, this has become a habit of his, adapting to the harsh reality of stardom. Being an actor isn't all it's cut out to be. The stress, the anxiety, the pressure, the eyes... It can be overwhelming for anyone. In the case of Avery however, he is one of those eyes, an amateur paparazzi new to the craft. He smiles almost all the time, genuinely. He always tries to see the bright side of things, but someone who smiles all the time always has something they want to hide. despite smiling all the time, he still feels empty, but he doesn't know why. So in a world where genuine smiles are hard to find, will Nova gain back the smile that he lost? Will Avery find a way to fill that emptiness inside him?
