CHAPTER 18

My gaze stayed behind her as she left the office. I don't say anything, but I carry on as usual.

As soon as I hear the elevator door close, I start to get up and enter the space again. When I pick up the phone and dial a number, the call is promptly answered.

"Yes, boss?"

Please follow Bella, please. I ask, "Watch what she's doing and let me know."

The person on the other end says "Right away" and then hangs up.

Bella, My Innocent. You are unaware of the situation you are in.

-----

When I pick up the phone, I hear a "Boss" greeting.

"What happened?" you ask. I questioned whether to jump to the point right away.

"It appears that Ms. Bella is conversing with a man whose face is obscured. I tighten my jaw as he says, "We cannot identify the person, but it appears that they were acquainted for some time.

If she is acting in this manner, how will she make it plausible? I think to myself.

I submitted some images, boss. He finally succeeded in jolting me out of my reverie, and I hastily opened the laptop and browsed a few of the pictures.

My eyes started to flame with fire as I continued to stare at them.

"I want you to buy the café when she departs. I want it burned down by tomorrow morning if they refuse, got it? I shout an angry order.

A "Yes, boss"

"Good, and make tomorrow the wedding day as well. Want to play games with me, it seems like my innocent rose, I say in a husky voice.

I quickly order "Make sure everything is set up and ready" and disconnect the call. I complete all the paperwork in the office, file everything away, and then I leave the premises.

I walked out and towards my car after giving the guards at my entry a harsh nod. As soon as I entered, I instantly turned on the automobile. I concentrated on my moves as I backed out of my parking space while holding a phone in one hand.

I successfully retreated and got behind the wheel. I found my father's phone number in my contacts after getting on the bike and I dialed it.

Eventually, after several rings, he responded.

"Son?" He questioned in a groggy tone.

I salute "Father".

"Son, what do you need. I'm not currently at home. He asked with a hint of curiosity.

I uttered "I found someone" and was met with complete stillness.

I called out "Dad" after realizing he had been silent for a significant amount of time.

"If this is some sort of sick joke-" I interrupted him as he was staring.

"It isn't. I located a person. The wedding will take place tomorrow. I asked if we could come over for supper because I wanted you to meet her. He choked on whatever he was drinking as soon as I spoke the words "married" and "tomorrow."

In shock, he exclaimed, "MARRIED."

I hummed back, "Mhm". He didn't say anything for another minute before doing so.

"Sure. Visit us. I didn't even have to look at him to realize that he was beaming like a cat when he said, "I'm so excited."

I said "See ya" and hung up the phone on him. I put my phone aside as I was about to enter the motorway at that very moment and kept my attention solely on the road for the remainder of the trip.
