"When the switch turns on, electrons will travel on the medium causing the conductor to.."

Hao Qiu is currently in the middle of class. She looked at the professor. This professor is praised so much by his colleagues because of his high IQ. She too admits that this professor of hers really was smart. The only problem is his IQ seemed to take too much space in his brain that his communication skills lacked too much. What's the use of being a teacher when your students can't understand a thing you are saying. Being a student really is too pititful. Hao Qiu lamented in her heart as she lazily wrote notes.

The professor reluctantly let them go when the lunch bell rang. Hao Qiu went directly to the cafeteria. She was already starving during class and it did not help that the professor stole a good ten minutes from their lunch time. She became very worried if she died out of hunger. Students truly are miserable.

When Hao Qiu arrived at the cafeteria, the place was already full of people. She already felt a headache just by looking. She reluctantly looked for her wallet in her bag.

"Where is it?! Great, I left it again. Useless!" Hao Qiu felt defeated. She forgot her wallet at home and her card.

"Senior, let's eat." Hao Qiu looked at the man behind her. Suddenly something clicked inside her head and looked at the man with eyes full of happiness and relief. Since I currently am penniless, then I will find myself some free food. Thinking this, Hao Qiu's smile became bigger.

"Little Xiao, senior was starved to death by the professor so I rushed here to eat but I left my wallet at home. Right now I am both hungry and penniless." Hao Qiu's face was that of regret and helplessness while looking at Xiao Heng like she was about to cry. Unable to look away from Hao Qiu's pitiful expression, Xiao Heng silently accepted his fate.

"It's fine. I will treat you to lunch." Hao Qiu's eyes lit up and clinged to Xiao Heng's arms.

"Then let's go!" Hao Qiu enthusiastically dragged Xiao Heng out of the cafeteria.

After some thought, the pair decided to eat at a cafe near the school.

"Eat slowly. Senior, you will choke if you don't slow down." Hao Qiu acted as if she didn't hear anything and continued to eat fast. A few seconds later, some of the food got clogged in her throat. She tried to cough it up but the pain got worse after every attempt.

Painful. It's so painful. Hao Qiu can only complain secretly. Tears started to form in her eyes while her coughing got more violent. As expected, regret is a really hard pill to swallow but she can't ask for help because that would prove that she was wrong.

Xiao Heng could only sigh while looking at her unrelenting expression. This senior really acts like a kid. He handed her a glass of water which Hao Qiu drank greedily.

Xiao Heng looked at her helplessly. "Senior, I warned you. Eat slower next time." He wiped her tears and the sweat that formed on her forehead.

"Stop worrying. I'm fine! Very fine. Big appetite means I am healthy." Hao Qiu crossed her arms for effect and looked at Xiao Heng smugly. "Little Xiao, don't underestimate me. I will definitely live for a thousand years!"

"Then live well senior." Xiao Heng rubbed her head a few times and went back to his meal. Hao Qiu, seeing that Xiao Heng dropped the subject, continued eating her food but in a slower pace.

"Senior, do you still have classes in the afternoon?" Hao Qiu shook her head. She did not even lift her head. Seeing as she was too immersed with her food, Xiao Heng could only smile at her.

"Our professor announced that he would not be present later afternoon. Should we go home together senior?"

"No." Hao Qiu shook her head and looked at Xiao Heng's face. Seeing his face, she couldn't help but tease him. She looked at Xiao Heng straight in the eye while mustering a serious look. "I have a date later. I can't possibly bring a third party."

Xiao Heng was shocked to hear this. He momentarily lost his grip on his spoon causing the food to spill on the table. Seeing this, Hao Qiu immediately bit her lips to prevent herself from laughing but her shaking shoulders betrayed her.

Xiao Heng realizing he got tricked again couldn't help but stare at the woman in front of him. He realized he over reacted so he calmed himself down and cleaned the food that was spilled.

"So senior, whose the unlucky guy?" Hearing this Hao Qiu immediately went quiet. She glared fiercely at Xiao Heng. Xiao Heng, seeing that he was already used to it, remained calm with no reaction which irritated Hao Qiu further.

"What do you mean unlucky? Little Xiao, I tell you, the person I date will be very lucky." Hao Qiu pouted. How dare he say that the person I will date will be unlucky. Am I really a bad lover in his eyes? No matter. Let's see how unlucky he will be once I date him in the future. Thinking of this, Hao Qiu released a little smile and chuckled.

Xiao Heng looked at the Hao Qiu who is distracted by thoughts with a smile. Her pouting expression looked very cute, her smile looked very pretty, and her chuckle sounded so pleasant to his ears that it made his eyes more gentle than ever.

Senior really is too cute, especially her smile. If given the chance, I will make her so happy until she forgets what sadness is…

Little Xiao is really fun to tease. Life will be more fun if he will be mine…

…but sadly we can't be together.
