I DROPPED the car away from the restaurant. I don't want to stay there any longer because I might just swallow everything I say and gobble up Lester's sweet words. I didn't want to go home and sneeze at home again, so I decided to go through

a bar. I want to forget even for a moment.

I chose to sit on the stool right in front of the bartender.

"One tequila, please," I said.

"Yes ma'am!"

Later, the bartender put down the shot glass with only tequila, which I immediately drank.

"One more, please!" I ignored the lemon in front of me. What could be more bitter than how I feel? Even if I sip the lemon and taste the saltiness nothing can beat what is in my heart.

"Here, ma'am," he politely said when he gave me another shot. Again, I drank straight. I recognized the shot before I did feel right.

"W-Waiter. . . one more, please! " I moaned and shouted. My eyes were blurred. I feel dizzy too.

The bartender shook his head before taking a glass. When he tried to hand me the glass a hand snatched it from me and drank it outright.

"Hey. . . that's my drink! " hiccup I said.

"You're drunk," a man said in his baritone voice.

I chuckled and slowly lifted my head to look at him. "And who the hell are you?" I slurred. I also did a few blinks. I couldn't see him very well because of the flicker of the lights around. But he looks tall. His jaw was prominent and perfectly sharp.

When our eyes met, my heart throbbed.

"Where is your place? I'll take you home, "he softly said.

"Who are you to tell me where I live, huh ?!" I exclaimed, nudging at his broad chest. I noticed that his body was stiff. Looks like taking care of the gym.

"You're drunk. You can't drive on your own, "he replied. He looked at the bartender before someone snatched it from his pocket. "Keep the change." He handed over the fee and then confronted me again. "Let's go. I will take you home, "he said with authority.

Because I was drunk I did nothing but indulge. Even before we left, we met Lester who was obviously shocked to see us.

"Baby, what happened?" Lester's expression immediately changed because of the man with me. "What did you do to my girlfriend, huh ?!" ***
