157 A Sin?

Caesar wasn't hallucinating! Adeline was definitely in that building. He knew that scent all too well, it was impossible to mistake it. 

He was searching the entire steakhouse as if he were a man who'd gone mad. His eyes were no longer their green color but rather tinted with gold. He was hurrying over everywhere, hands running through his hair in utter confusion, and lost.  

Yuri, who was running after him, stood in front of him, spreading his arms out. "Sir, may I know what's going on?"

"Yuri!" Caesar snatched him by the shoulders. "She was here! I smelled her!" 

Yuri blinked in perplexity.  

Adeline? But how could she be here? Was she in Italy? Also, if she was in the steak house, shouldn't they have seen her? 

Perhaps the supreme alpha was hallucinating. 

He knew what this mating thing could do to one. And the worst part about Caesar's case was that he genuinely loved her. He loved Adeline like he'd never done anyone before.
