9 Chapter 9; Hurry up and clean this mess...

" Dad, what are you talking about? I haven't introduced Zhan Shan and her pregnancy to anyone. " His heartbeats thudded in his chest heavily as the sudden news knocked him off the balance and couldn't help but get nervous from his father's angry voice.

"Hurry up and clean up this mess..." The man hung up leaving Mu Rong sitting there in a trance while his knuckles tightened their grip around the phone.

"Who could this be setting me up?" He jerked up from the couch and immediately logged online to see what was going on but he froze on the spot seeing how the internet had gone wild with news of Zhan Shan's pregnancy.

"Zhan Shan, the beautiful top model, and an actress, is rumored to be four months pregnant, and her baby daddy is none other than the young Master from the Mu family, Mu Rong."

"How come the unwed top-time actress is pregnant without any engagement or Marriage ceremony? Why aren't they making their relationship formal and official? "

" As you can see here, this is the picture of the said couple walking out of the hospital hand in hand looking all happy, could this mean their wedding is happening soon? "

All kinds of speculations flooded the internet as also fans became wild, others supported her while others insulted and cursed her.

Zhan Shan walked out of the bathroom all dried and dressed up as she smiled sweetly at Mu Rong, she had finally gotten what she had always wanted and dreamed of getting married to his childhood sweetheart.

Mu Rong turned around and glanced at the woman who was approaching him, they were all aged around twenty-one as they were born a month apart.

"Zhan Shan, I think everyone knows now about your pregnancy." He didn't expect news to break out like this but he couldn't keep it hidden from her.

"What? My family also knows about it?" She panicked as she dashed to the bedside drawer and pulled out the muted phone that was inside and pressed the power button.

There were several missed calls, not only from her family but also from the Chennai Entertainment Company where she was contracted, her personal assistant had called too, her director... Friends, brothers.

" Damn it! Who could have done this? " She hurriedly switched the phone off and slumped onto the bed roughly.

" Zhan Shan, remember that you are pregnant.. don't get worked up and calm down. " He sat down on the bed beside her and pulled her into his arms hugging her.

" This must be the work of Zhou Meili, she was the one to whom we talked closely and knows that I'm pregnant, no wonder she signed the divorce papers so fast without any conditions! So this is what she was plotting! I thought she was a reasonable girl but she is so despicable to the core, how dare she play us! " Zhan Shan couldn't control herself as her emotions went rampant while her tears streamed down her cheeks like a downpour.

"We don't know if it's her or not, what if it's an enemy from your company who wants to destroy your career and not have any comeback? " he patted her back worriedly as several calls continued coming in. The phone rang continuously nonstop.

"Why are you trying to defend her? What if she is the one who did this?" She roughly pushed him away in anger remembering that woman was still married to his boyfriend.

"Zhan Shan, you need to calm down, you are now pregnant.. or do you want to lose our baby... " Mu Rong gently let go as he tried to coax her from a distance.

"What are we going to do now?" Zhan Shan began crying hysterically as everything would be ruined, not only her career would be jeopardized but even her chastity, their family's prestigious name will be dragged down through the mud.

" I need to process the divorce papers faster so that we can get married immediately but first let me try to calm the storm." He stood up and picked up his mobile phone before dialing a private number.

Inside the Maple Valley Mansion, Mu Zhu walked to the living room and received Zhan Hong who had arrived with another female doctor who had tagged along.

"Hello... Good evening Zhan Hong, let's go." They shook hands before taking the stairs up to the first floor. They hummed in response as they followed.

He was wearing a simple black suit while the female doctor was also dressed up in a black suit paired with some high heels.

They were almost the same height around one hundred and sixty meters tall, with black hair.

At the master's bedroom door, Mu Zhu lightly knocked at the door, "come in.." Mu Shen responded as he stood up.

Mu Zhu opened the door and ushered them in.

"Mu Shen, I thought you are so sick to request my private services so urgently, but I can see you are standing tall and very strong.." he sarcastically remarked while they shook hands.

"Let the female doctor check on her.." he motioned to the bed and then they realized a tiny woman was lying on his bed.

"Who is she?" Zhan Hong scurried his footsteps trying to approach the bed but Mu Zhu was way faster than him and blocked him from proceeding any further and thus he couldn't see her face.
