Chapter 15: It all led back to him
Zhēng Yù felt a hand slide across his back and then across the top of his shoulder until it wasn't just a hand but the deep broad warmth of someone pressing their chest into him. "Sorry, I got so thirsty," Ēn Chén whispered in his ear. Zhēng Yù turned his face a little slightly, looking over his left shoulder, and then Ēn Chén's body reversed back the same route he had used to grab the water bottle rather than just pulling back and away now that he had achieved his goal.
Zhēng Yù cleared his throat, feeling like it had suddenly become so very dry in the room.
Ēn Chén cracked the lid on the water bottle, pressed it to his lips, then took a big swig.
A little dripped down, but as soon as he was done drinking, he wiped it before Zhēng Yù could comment.
