29 Chapter 29: Leaving City B

The two are the pair of variant zombie tank Eskelon and the former master of City B, the variant metal controller zombie.
The mission of the two is to capture Adam and bring her back to their mistress.

The two went around City only to find not even the shadow of Adam or his skeletons. They only saw the piled up flesh of zombies on the streets. Even the destruction of some buildings are can be found but there are no trace of humans at all.

Eskelon gave an angry roar and gave his partner a deadly stare. He is very dissatisfied with the metal controller for it feels like he was playing with him.
There is no handsome brat here at all!
The other zombies with the lowest intellect who heard Eskelon's roar even went far away from the place due to the sense of danger.
As for the variant metal controller zombie, he can only cower as he faced Eskelon's anger.

At another side of the City, another convoy of modified car consisting of 20 figures are can be seen entering City B.
They are all dressed in white with a middle aged man as the leader. He is wearing something like what a priest will wear during mass and an inconspicuous word Espoir Church is written on it.
That's right, these people came from the one of the largest force of Barhan Country, the Espoir Church, the self proclaimed hope of humanity, the future.
" Priest Anthony, this city is called City B. Being part of the fallen land, there is a big chance that a lot of supplies can still be looted from here. The other major forces haven't made any move yet for the southern region and it is expected that our Espoir Church are the first to enjoy the loots. " said a man holding a map on his hand.
Priest Anthony, is one of the main force of one of the branched base of the Espoir Church. Unlike the other forces, every bases under the Church don't have names for their base to show that they are united.
Anthony is also one of the luckiest person of the apocalypse being able to become an awakened. Right now, he is a powerful tier 3 awakened. His ' legacy ' is only a low level one called ' The Knight of Siran ' and judging from the title, without a name, the legacy came from an unknown figure and have no powerful background.
But compared to normal people, this legacy is already pretty high end and can evoke people's envy.
" Mark all the location that may have a stock of foods and other necessities. We will prioritized these and go back immediately to the base. "
The group are mostly composed of evolutionary so they are very confident of their strength to be rampant in the zombie infested city.
They are the hope of humanity. How can they be afraid of some low level zombies? Even if they met a powerful variant zombie, their leader Priest Anthony is a tier 3 awakened.
Even if this is the southern region they are not afraid.
Not to mention that the place is only at the periphery of the south. Therefore, these group of people believe that there will not be any too powerful zombie in the city.

The people of Espoir Church found a sports complex and barricaded it. They then continued to set up the camp and clean up the wandering zombies around the area.
Settling everything for awhile, the group of priest and " hopes " then gathered and started formulating their course of action.
" Priest Anthony, everything is ready. Should we start planning how to gather the supplies now? "
Priest Anthony with a complacent look only smiled a little and contemptuously said to the man. " Gather everyone and wait for my instructions. I don't need you weaklings to tell me what to do. "
