Survivor of the Multiverse: starting from dino crisis.

"Join me on my journey through the multiverse, from the nightmares of Raccoon City in Resident Evil to confronting the mutated mitochondria in Parasite Eve, avoiding becoming dinosaur food in Dino Crisis, and navigating the dark corridors of Silent Hill. As you explore a world that is a fusion of horrors, you will need to solve puzzles, confront monstrous creatures, and make decisions that will challenge your moral values. To clarify, I received some assistance from ChatGPT to create this story. It will serve as a means to practice my English, which is at a very basic level, and to improve my grammar. Please bear with me as I continue to learn."

Chapter 3: This is how it starts!

[Axel POV]

Turning around and seeing the door with a special lock starting to open, I aim with the gun, believing that another damn smallfoot will appear...

To my surprise, a security guard emerges from there, carrying a shotgun and a medical kit hanging from his waist.

Upon seeing the dead raptor, he was so surprised that he didn't notice my presence.

"Stop there, man!" I said, pulling the guard out of his surprise.

Seeing that I was pointing the gun at him, the guard raised his hands and with a hint of panic, he said, "Relax, there's no need to point that at me".

¿"Could you please lower your weapon? I've had enough of these damn huge lizards, how to worry about someone shooting at me"

Upon taking a closer look at his face, I recognized him, so I decided to lower the gun. "Leo, damn, I didn't recognize you at first, forgive me, I'm too paranoid due to the situation."

The guard, upon seeing that I stopped aiming at him, closed his eyes and let out a sigh of relief.

Upon hearing my voice, he opened his eyes and upon looking at me closely, he couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, "Axel, you're still alive! That's a relief, buddy, I thought those damn lizards had eaten you."

"I can say the same, I didn't expect to find you here. Weren't you supposed to be in Area B2?" I expressed my confusion.

"Well, normally, yes, but I needed to get to the backup generator area because there seemed to be a malfunction, and they asked me to investigate."

"You can imagine my surprise when I encountered those horrible lizards on my way."

"I found a scientist and another guard fleeing from these creatures. I managed to save one, he's injured but will recover."

"I left it in the office, when I heard gunshots I decided to take a look and see if the shooter was still alive."

"I understand, but how did you get in if you didn't have the keycard for his office?" I expressed my confusion, as in the game, keycards were a fundamental part of unlocking doors.

"Hmm? You don't know?" At that moment, Leo remembered that Axel had only been at the facility for a week.

"Well, with you being new here, I doubt you know how everything related to keycards works."

"You see, the keycard is only used to reset locks that are blocked by a power outage or a system failure. Usually, you only need a code or fingerprints to open the locks."

Looking at the keycard near the dead raptor, Leo understood why Axel had asked about the keycards.

"It seems you found the keycard that is necessary to open the office in this lobby. Maybe it fell from that guard who was fleeing with the scientist."

Leo thought about why the guard had the keycard (perhaps he was afraid that the systems would fail and he wouldn't be able to access the main office of this area).

Looking at the dead dinosaur, Leo couldn't help but wonder why these supposedly extinct lizards were here. "Maybe they tried to clone them," he murmured to himself, lost in thought.

Seeing that Leo was distracted by the dinosaur, I decided to interrupt his thoughts.

"So, are the doors to all the areas not locked?" I asked with anticipation in my voice because if that were the case, it would make things easier, and I wouldn't have to take detours to retrieve the keycards to access the other areas.

Coming out of his thoughts, Leo nodded. "Yes, with no power outage or system failure, you can enter using your access code."

"I understand, in that case, I need to hurry before something happens to the system due to the crisis we're in," I said.

It was time to move. I knew there would be a system failure sooner or later.

I need to be quick and get to the weapons testing room in Area B1. I need that invention I created; it will increase my chances of survival.

Upon hearing what I had just said, Leo couldn't help but exclaim with disbelief, "Are you crazy? Those damn lizards are everywhere. It's better that we go into the office and wait for the rescue team."

(My behind is safe; that damn office will be where the injured scientist becomes a meal for the damn T-rex!) I exclaimed in my thoughts.

Shaking my head, I expressed my opinion to Leo, "My friend, there's no safe place.

We should look for escape routes. Those bastards can get in through the ceiling vents. You better watch out for that."

With that comment, I turned around and started walking towards the door that leads to the main entrance and, consequently, to Area B1.

"If that's your decision, all I can say is, don't die, you damn bastard!"

When I heard what he said, I turned and with a smile, I replied, "You too, buddy.

"Remember, Leo, you have to watch out for the ceiling vents." With that final comment, I opened the door and entered the main entrance area.

[General POV]

A helicopter could be seen traveling through the midst of a storm. This helicopter carried a team of S.O.R.T special forces, composed of five individuals:

Gail as the team leader

Rick, the electronics specialist

Cooper, the communications specialist

Regina, the specialist in electrical

mechanisms, infiltration, espionage, and extermination

Tom, the specialist in espionage and infiltration

The team members were dressed in tactical suits with bulletproof vests, black gloves, tactical boots, and masks that only revealed their eyes.

As they approached the island, the pilot communicated through his headset, "We are approaching the drop zone."

Upon hearing the pilot, the team members unbuckled their seatbelts and stood up, preparing for their descent.

Upon opening the helicopter door, they were met with strong winds, to which Rick commented with a hint of concern, "Looks like we've got turbulence."

Captain Gail sat in front of Rick, and despite the strong wind, he remained unperturbed. As they neared the island, he calmly informed his team, "Once on the ground, we will head to the designated rendezvous point."

He adjusted his watch's timer and then turned to them, asking, "Understood?"

All the others nodded, put on their parachutes, and, realizing they were very close to the island, decided to jump. While descending towards the island, Cooper was pushed by a strong gust of wind, deviating from his intended rendezvous point.

...

At the rendezvous point, Gail was seen removing his mask, revealing a man in his mid-thirties, standing at a height of six feet with a muscular physique, blonde hair, and a stoic face that showed his extensive years of experience.

Behind him stood a young and beautiful woman, his face looks like he is twenty-two years old, with an athletic body, a modest chest, and curves that could entice any man; she was Regina, easily recognizable by her red hair.

Noticing the time on his watch, Gail decided it was time to move.

Just as he took a step, a somewhat weary voice exclaimed from behind, "Sorry, I'm late." It was Rick, a young afroamerican man in his mid-twenties with a muscular body but a somewhat light voice.

Unperturbed, Gail simply said, "It's time to move."

At that moment, Regina voiced her concern, "What about Cooper? He hasn't arrived yet."

"Forget it, we're out of time," Gil replied indifferently as he continued to advance.

"¡Wait, wait, we can't leave him!" Rick

urgently spoke, but this time, Gail ignored them and continued walking.

...

Meanwhile, Cooper found himself in the midst of the island's wooded area, unsure of which direction to take.

Upon hearing a loud thud, as if from a heavy step, and seeing trees falling as a massive figure approached.

Cooper began to run, hopeful that what haunted him would tire and leave him in peace.

While running, he glanced back for a second, spotting a colossal creature in pursuit. As he looked at the creature, Cooper stumbled and fell.

"Ahhhh!" was the last thing Cooper managed to say before being devoured by the enormous creature.

Taking a few moments, the creature devoured Cooper entirely. With the moon in the background, the creature was revealed as a massive T-rex, letting out a victorious roar after successfully devouring its prey.

That night, Cooper became the first victim of this fearsome Jurassic predator.
