"F*ck! We lost it. "

"Calm down, man... nothing can be done when there are hackers." Someone from the voice chat of the game they were playing said

"Yeah, stop being a hot-tempered Leroy," said the second person in the voice chat.

*sigh*

"Yeah... my life is a shit already."

"It was the decision you made that time... nothing could be done, I told you that time also that you could just take back the top seat by defeating him."

"I guess I was the shitty idiot there." Leroy becomes sad whenever he thinks about that day.

Leroy used to be a pro gamer. He even earned the title " The Impossible Gamer" as he always used to start a new game in the hardest mode and finish it in the way it was supposed to be. He was at the top whenever it was about gaming. No one could beat him. But someone changed that forever.

His name was Rowan Collins. He just suddenly came and changed everything in Leroy's life. After that, he became known as "The King Changer." He won every single game against Leroy... even the unknown ones... which was a humiliation to Leroy, as he had never felt defeat before.

Leroy had to face humiliation from that day. Because of that, he decided to quit gaming and open a small store with whatever money he had.

But he wasn't abandoned by his teammates, Kennard Dixon and Horace Walton. These three are best friends. Both of them thought of supporting Leroy for now with finances. As time went by, they would try to bring Leroy back to the crew.

*Ding Ding*

"Now who would send a message to me?" Leroy seemed to be annoyed with attending to random messages.

"Who knows, there might be something good also." Kennard felt that he was annoyed.

"Who knows, it might be something good?" Horace supported his statement.

"I will send a screenshot of the message I got... check it." Leroy found something weird with the message.

Both of them begin to check the image sent by Leroy.

"A game invitation?" Both of them felt weird about it.

"Yes... I know it must be weird... a game invitation but no revelations in the gaming community, which has never happened before..."

"Who cares, just accept it... you will get money as their beta player," Kennard thought of it as an opportunity also.

"What the f*ck man, it is the same invitation I got 3 mins ago" Horace was surprised after seeing that it was the same invitation that he had gotten, but he didn't care much about it.

"What?" Leroy was also surprised after hearing it.

"Something's weird, man... literally right now I got the same invitation." Kennard started to feel very weird about it.

Leroy and Kennard agreed with Horace. After they accept it, another pop-up message comes up.

"Huff, will you both calm down? Anyway, I am going with Medium. "Horace felt that Medium would be the best, as if the game was easy, then Easy Mode would become boring, but if it is a hard one, the Medium Mode would be a little bit hard and interesting."

"Me also... I think that medium mode would be the best." Kennard also agrees with Horace.

"As usual, I am going with Impossible Mode." Leroy was confident that he can beat it.

After choosing the difficulty, another pop-up message appears to choose an In-Game Name.

"So what are you all choosing for the in-game name?" Leroy was interested in what name his friends were going to choose.

Kennard chooses "Shadow_Dragon"

Horace chooses "Leonarex."

"Those are some good names."

"What about you?" Horace asked Leroy.

Leroy grins and says, "DarkSoul."

"Umm okay... that name is quite dark."

The three boys put in the name and the game starts installing on their PC. Soon enough, the downloading was done. But for some reason, they couldn't access the game even though the installation was done without any problems.

"Umm, can you guys access it?" Kennard asked the other two.

"No man, something is wrong," Leroy replies to Kennard.

"Yep, same with me." Horace agrees with Leroy.

Leroy thinks of checking the file of it. "Let me check the file of this game."

After going through the files of it he noticed that this game can only be played in VR.

"Man... this game can only be played in the VC Set" Leroy sighs.

"We both have it, just let me connect it."

"Ok... I also have a VR Set but it is a year old I think, I hope it supports "

After connecting it to the VR Set, a message comes up on his PC.

"Yes!" they both say with energy.

Everything turns black as if he was in some kind of Void and suddenly a shiny blue screen appears in front of his eyes saying...

He looks around the room he was in.

Leroy was offended but kept his cool.

"Hey, welcome to your Death Place" another person speaks up.

"What? Death Place?" Leroy couldn't understand why that guy said 'Death Place'.

"Because your life is a game now"

"..." Leroy couldn't process it for a while.
