June was looking at her current status into the transparent blue window in front of her. 'I've finished all of my tasks, Sevy, what should I do to earn more points?'
It took a while before Sevy respond "Oh sorry host, I dozed off" June was really annoyed with this system already but she tried to calm herself down. "Don't be greedy host, new tasks will arrive eventually. The host just needs to be patient"
June just remained silent, so is Sevy. While walking and following the girl named Eula, the girl Infront of her suddenly broke the silence "I still can't believe zombies exists now..."
June remained silent as she kept on following Eula "Hey June..." June looked at Eula "Hm?" Eula stopped walking and turned around "Do you think you could still get out of this school?"
There was silence between the two and neither of them speak for a while "I don't know what will happen in the future. I might get killed by a zombie but we're not sure. The only thing that I'm sure is that I'll do my best to survive" Eula smiled listening to her answer "I see".
The two continued to walk forward and luckily there's no zombies around them so far "Where's that hidden room by the way?"
"Fourth floor" They are currently on the third floor but their school's kinda big and the stairs are far from where they're currently in. "That far?" June complained. "We'll get there eventually...Just a little more" June clicked her tongue but she still followed Eula behind.
June suddenly stopped walking and Eula noticed it so she turned around to ask if there's something wrong. When Eula was about to ask, June held Eula's hand and suddenly started to run "H-hey why are we running?". The moment they entered the staff room, June immediately locked the door.
"Why are we here? Is th-" Before Eula could even finish her question, June suddenly squeezed her hand and she also made a quiet gesture telling Eula not to make any noise.
Eula nodded but she was feeling kind of embarrassed just now that she felt her face slightly heating up. After an hour or so, June finally sighed in relief and she turned to look at Eula but then she realized that she's still holding her hand "Oh uh sorry about that" She finally let go of Eula's hand "I heard a bunch of footsteps earlier and I had a hunch that they're a group of zombies, I'm not quite sure whether I could defeat them all so I decided to hide until they're gone".
"I'm really sorry, My hand must be sweaty" June took her handkerchief from her pocket and gave it to Eula. Eula shook her head but she was looking down, still embarrassed "It's okay...I don't really mind at all and you did that to save me again right?"
June looked away for a moment as if she was thinking "I guess i did?". The two of them remained silent for a while and June's the one who broke the silence "Hey, Are you feeling thirsty?"
Eula blinked twice "huh?". June unlocked the door "Well, We've been walking earlier for a while and we also ran quite a bit so you must be tired. I'll go look for some water for us to drink".
Eula's hesitant and worried about June's plan "Oh, i see...Be careful and thank you" Eula smiled thankfully. "It's nothing and take this for now" June handed her metal bat to Eula "Lock the door and don't just open the door when somebody knocked. You're only allowed to open this door when i knocked using this beat" June knocked on the door making a simple yet good beat. Eula nodded and remembered the beat that June made.
When June went out, she heard the room being locked from the inside then she smiled.
"Host these are your new tasks" a familiar blue window appeared in June's vision.

June's silent for a moment "Oi oi Sevy! I can understand the first 3 tasks but what's with the main task??"
Sevy shrugged even though June couldn't see it "I also don't know host, I'm just forwarding the tasks arranged by the main system for you" The mechanical voice yawned after answering June's question. Sevy just hope that this stupid host to do her tasks and don't bother them with almost every single thing.
"Tell your superiors to stop giving me this kind of bullsh*t next time" Sevy rolled it's eyes and didn't answer back, neither agreeing nor disagreeing "Goodluck host".
June wanted to complain more but she wanted to finish this all so that she finally can relax, She looked outside the window and saw that it's already dark.
"Let's get this all over with" June said as she cracked her knuckles as if preparing herself for a battle.

Author's Note
I apologize if it kinda took me a while to update. I kinda ran out of ideas on how I will write this chapter and thankfully I managed to write it somehow. I'm also currently focusing on finishing the first volume of my other novel so it might take me a while to update here but I promise that as soon as I finished the volume 1 of my other novel, I will post 2 chapters in this novel at the same time.
