EARTH 2135

Earth is the only known planet in the Solar System to sustain life. Developing rapidly over the course of 200,000 years, humans became the dominant species on Earth. But with all beginnings, there is an end, and this is the fate of the human race and how it evolved.

It was on September 23. When an asteroid named Bennu was reported to be on it's way to collide with Earth.

NASA on the other hand, predicted this encounter. They studied to shorten the response timeline when they saw a clear and present danger in order to have the options to deflect it.

"The ultimate goal is to be ready to protect life on Earth," they said.

HAMMER or the Hypervelocity Asteroid Mitigation Mission for Emergency Response Vehicle, is designed to blow up asteroids using nuclear weapons. There was hope. Hope for life on Earth.

On September 25, HAMMER was used and it had been successful. Bennu was finally out of course.

But the story doesn't end there. You see, this is just the beginning.

The latter technique had made a strong impact, and, tiny bits of Bennu's asteroid fell on Earth.

"It was just a minimal damage rather than having Bennu actually hitting Earth."

That's what they all say. But what happened after that is humanity's greatest problem yet. This world was nothing more than just a lifeless painting. A grey one stained in red as it burn down to the ground.

We all know something came up.

Something happened.

On that day, we all lost something.
