50 (L) Beyond Regret

Samael sighed, staring up at the sun overhead as he sat on a pile of rubble with three holes in the ground next to him. The afternoon sun was bearing down on him as he wiped his forehead with the back of his hand. 

'Master, someone's coming...' Khrista called out telepathically, prompting him to nod as he stood, slinging the midnight coat and both scabbards over his shoulder as he carried them while he walked into the street and faced Ivan. 

"I see you accepted my gift..." Sam called out, shuffling his feet as he adjusted his standing position, his whole body stiff from the extended rest.

"Who are you..?" The cyborg asked, anger flashing across his eyes as his robotic arm transformed into a rifle, and he aimed it at the young man. 

"I thought we already went over this..." Sam sighed, levitating the sword sheaths in front of him with his electromagnetic control and spun the coat around him, slipping his arms inside.
