It evolved into a Slowbro, becoming the first and only Slowpoke from the temple to do so in nearly a century after fishing up a Shellder from the Lake of Enlightenment.

The Slowpoke transformed from an unremarkable creature to a powerful force. Though it still only knew Telekinesis, the Slowbro's constant meditative state from birth had allowed its psychic power to grow immensely.

With such extraordinary psychic power, a single Telekinesis move could move mountains and sweep away any obstacle.

Will's fortunes changed, and within a few short years, he became the strongest member of the Elite Four in the city.
