When we got to his apartment, I was surprised by what I saw, he had like 5 packets of cup noodles on the side which got me thinking about how he got it so I asked him how he got it.

Daniel: You remember the store close to my house, I went there to pick this up and since I'm stronger it didn't feel like I was carrying anything.

Me: I remember but how did you get past those zombies we just killed.

Daniel: They weren't there before, it was this morning that they came here.

Me: That's good then thought I was going to be eating another snack again.

He helped me boil hot water on his pot using his barbecue grill as a stove, we both sat down with our own cup noodles in hand before my cousin started talking and said " I told you this world was changing when the coronavirus came out"

Me: but I bet you didn't mean that it's changing the way it is now.

Daniel: I definitely didn't see that coming, you got your wish answered then.

Me: In a way, yes, but I bet this isn't because I wished for it.

Daniel: I would have told you that you were tripping if you thought you was special or something.

Me: Hahahaha.

Me: Have you seen anything else apart from the zombies, like a zombie dog or hulk sized zombies.

Daniel: I haven't seen a zombie dog but I did see a big zombie near the store when I was going to pick up the noodles.

Me: How didn't it catch you.

Daniel: It ran after some people that saw and screamed making there presence know and that was how I got to the store.

Me: Do you think we have a chance of taking down one of those big zombies if we fought together.

Daniel: with what I saw, no way is that possible.

Me: same here, when I saw it, it jumped to the second floor of a building like it was something normal.

Daniel: But it won't take time to catch up to it if we have these crystals.

Me: so our goal now is to get stronger and take down one of those big zombies.

Daniel: Yeah I guess.

Me: But what about food and something like a base where we can store everything we got.

Daniel: We can solve that if we take out all the zombies around us and at the same time secure the store to ourselves.

Me: can we really keep it to ourselves, It won't sit right with other people that got the same plan as us.

Daniel: That's why we kill two birds with one stone.

Me: You mean we get stronger the same time we are clearing these streets.

Daniel: Exactly.

By the time we were done talking we already ate one whole packet of the noodles before bringing out all the crystal we have at hand with the 2 I till got before distributing half among ourselves, I held seven crystal in hand before thinking about how I should take them, should I take it one by one or swallow everything at once.

I looked at my cousin to see how he is doing but he just swallowed everything at once and smiled at me before he fell to the ground and start thrashing around "still as reckless as ever" was what I thought when I saw what he did but when he started thrashing around and looked like he was trying not to scream I got scared but let him be and see what happens.

I sat there for twenty-minute and saw he was still thrashing around like he was in pain but nothing was happening so I swallowed all the crystal I have and it felt like I drank something thick like yogurt before the pain came but I didn't pass out instead I was wide awake and felt everything that was happening in my body.

It felt like something was pouring molten lava into my whole body and it's seeping into my bone and my bone felt like it was melting and reforming back stronger again, I could see my cousin looking at me with eyes that said " see how I feeling" I wanted to give him the middle finger but can't since I can't even move around cause of the pain.
