Mike's group had finally been defeated one sidedly, with his men lying on the ground and the only one remaining in front of John is mike and his men who wants to make a truce. The five thugs had already knelt down, clearly surrendering.

Before Mike could finish his sentence, John slapped him across the face, causing Mike's face to turn red from the impact with some of his teeth flew out, resulting in him coughing up blood.
