Chapter 25 John Shelter [Updated]

In the swamp, there are four humans crossing the lake, one man and three women. The water level is not deep, only reaching up to their legs. The man is none other than John, and the three girls are Bianca, Anna, and Christine.

"Is it still far, John?" Anna asked as she lifted her dress to avoid getting it wet in the shallow lake.

"It's still a bit of a distance," John replied to Anna.

John, who was leading the group, kept his guard up and surveyed the surroundings. However, when he noticed that the crocodiles didn't return, he let out a sigh of relief.

As they continued walking, they finally reached the edge of the lake, and stepped onto the other side of the swamp.

The three girls followed John as they walked forward, and John noticed that the dense fog was starting to dissipate, until it finally disappeared, and they were out of the swamp.

After a few minutes of walking, John heard the sound of the river and he stopped in his tracks.
