As he ventured deeper into the forest, he encountered various unfamiliar plants and fruits whose edibility remained a mystery to John.
"I cant bring any fruits, now I don't even know if some of them are edible or poisonous so being cautious is important" John said when he saw a bunch of them.
Nevertheless, his immediate concern was to locate a river, where he could quench his thirst with fresh water and to build a shelter.
After hours of searching, he felt like he was getting closer to the heart of the forest. Suddenly, a gushing sound caught he's attention from his right.
"That sound like a running river" John turns his head towards it and finally saw a river.
Excitedly, he hurried towards the place and tasted the water, checking for any signs of contamination.
"haaahh, delicious" he exclaimed even though it has no taste as he looked at the river and .
To his surprise, the water was pure and spotless - so clean that it was impossible for bacteria to survive in it.
John observed he's surroundings and realized that it was an ideal location to build a shelter.
The trees were spaced far enough apart to allow for a small shelter to be constructed.
"This place is good it's close to the river and spacious enough, to make a big shelter"
When John finally found a suitable spot for his shelter, he began to gather the necessary materials.
He searched for a sturdy rock, a straight stick, and a long vine from the nearby trees. With these items in hand, he set out to craft his own handmade axe.
John looked around the forest for the right materials to craft the handmade axe.
He found a large rock that he could use as a hammering tool, a sturdy stick that he could use as a handle, and a long vine that he could use as a binding material.
He began by sharpening one end of the stick with the rock.
It was tough work, but he persisted, chipping away at the wood until it was sharp enough to cut through small branches. Next, he used the rock to chip away at the other end of the stick, creating a small groove.
He then took the large rock and began to strike it against the stick, using the groove he had created to hold the rock in place. With each strike, the stick began to split apart, revealing a small gap in the center.
Finally, he took the vine and began to wrap it tightly around the gap in the stick, binding the stick and the rock together.
John repeated this process several times, adding more and more vine until he was satisfied with the strength of the binding.
The end result was a crude but functional handmade axe.
It was far from perfect, with an unrefined shape and a rough edge, but John was pleased with his own creation.
John knew that it wouldn't be as effective as a modern axe, but it was the best he could do with the materials that is available right now.
With he's newly created tool in hand, he felt a renewed sense of hope for his survival on the island.
"Haha luckily, my dad trained me in the military, for a few years so I learned how to make handmade items, hahaha" John said while laughing.
He's laugher stopped when he heard a notification sound, and when he checked, it was the system.
John was taken aback for a moment when he realized that he had completely forgotten about the mission that's in his system.
"The f. I completely forgot about the mission"
Hastily, he opened the system interface, and a myriad of icons appeared before John, including skills, potions, martial arts, and techniques.
John quickly located the mission tab and clicked on it, revealing a list of tasks to be completed.

"It carried a powerfull forces and by being hit by this, a grown lion can die with just one hit. The shadow walked, is a speed type technique where it increases the speed by 3x when mastered, and it makes no sound when using it this technique, is good for assassination than face to face combat"

After checking the missions, John decided to explore the skills section of his system.
As john opened it, a bunch of skill about agriculture, farming, plants, and animals appeared before me. It was overwhelming, but he knew that learning these skills would be crucial for his survival on the island.
