Avion vs Russell 2

 As the first rays of sunlight brightened the hotel room through the curtains, Avion woke up on his king size bed. And today his previous narcissism and cheerful expression couldn't be seen as it was replaced by determination and seriousness. He never wanted to experience what he experienced yesterday ever again.

 After getting dressed, he left his chambers and came to the dining hall which was somewhat full by the cadets of his class. With an indifferent expression on his face, he went to the buffet and fulled his plate to the brim with all kinds of meals that was presented their. He was never a glutton, But today for some reason he had a strange craving to eat until he couldn't anymore. Maybe it was because he wanted to forget about previous events that took place yesterday. He hated how everyone belittled him just because of their jealousy. 

 Avion was born with a golden spoon in his mouth and every noble young lords hated those who are richer than them. Although Lucas was there too, He didn't grabbed much attention from the outside world due to always being under the shadow of Avion who was blessed by intelligence from a very young age. 

 Most young lords admired and aimed to be as smart as him in the past. But that was until his awakening. As soon as the news about his Potential got to the ears of outside world, Their gazes of admiration turned in to gazes of ridicule as their years of jealousy was directed towards the fallen star of Dragonhearts. 

 They enjoyed seeing someone who's born with a golden spoon in their mouth fall so low as to even being striped off of his title as the heir. But in the end it was the nature of humans. They enjoy seeing someone fall just so they could mock, ridicule and belittle them to feel confident in themselves. 

" Hey look at him, ha ha. "

" Does he plans on becoming a football so we can roll him around ha ha. "

" Poor guy must be scared he he. "

" I can't wait to see them fight today. "

" Yah me too. I wonder how strong the first ranked student of the Silver Academy is? "

" I heard he also awakened the mythical rank. "

" No way! Tsk. Lucky bastards. "

 As Avion stood in an empty table, He heard the mockery of the cadets around him yet he ignored them all. But he won't forget any of those words.

' Soon. Soon I'll show all of them. ' Avion thought as he ate silently in a corner. Although the food felt tasteless for some reason, He didn't throw them away. He slowly ate his plate full of different delicacies until only his lone figure was left in the dining hall of the hotel. 

 After he finished eating Avion followed the others and went in to the Tamriel Silver academy through a portal that led them to the inside of academy grounds.

 Unlike the phoenix academy which was built with the use of technology, Tamriel Silver academy was made with the power of High ranking elves who have an affinity for nature magic. The whole building structure in here were build with the help of elven architecture just like how the buildings of Tamriel city were made with.

 After passing through several buildings, they came directly to the virtual arena, where the mock war will be held. There could also be seen elven cadets wearing their green and white striped academy uniform which had the emblem of the world tree attached to their uniform collar. 

 Aurora took the lead and went ahead to greet the professor of elven cadets Who was a female elf with Silver hair and amethyst eyes. She had her hair tied like a pony and she was wearing a black coat which highlighted the curves of her body perfectly. Her beauty was on par with Aurora.

 As the two professors were talking, the cadets of both academies got close to each other and both parties slowly started to introduce themselves. 

 Although both parties will be fighting against each others, They didn't acted high and mighty and tried to provoke each other. Instead they were exited as they started betting on who'll win and laughing while introducing themselves.

 Amongst those friendly chit chat between both parties Avion wasn't included or more like he didn't participated. But unbeknown to him, A certain elven cadet with black hair and purple eyes was eying him from the corner. Just like Avion the black haired elf also didn't partake in introducing himself with others.

 After observing Avion for sometime, he slowly approached him from the side with steady steps.

" You there. Are you Perhaps Avion. " Hearing someone call his name out of nowhere Avion was a bit startled. So he looked at the person who just talked to him from the corner of his eyes before giving him slight nod. 

 He had Jet black waist long hair tied in a pony tail And purple hunter eyes which highlighted his handsome looks even more. He was about as tall as Avion and his ripped slim body was perfectly outlined by the academy uniforms he was wearing. 

" My name is Zeref Ouranos, Oldest son of Eilae and current second ranked student amongst first years. Thank you for standing up for my brother yesterday. If you didn't stood up I don't know what would have happened to him. Due to some problems I can't act out or else I will be charged with treason. That's why I am here to thank you in person today. If you didn't intervened yesterday my brother would have been hurt and I would have definitely acted out and get my self killed. " Although he saw Avion ignore him before. Zeref didn't faltered and continued thanking Avion earnestly.

" I can't do much, But I can fight Russell in your stead. You don't need to dirty you hands. " After a short pause Zeref said with a genuine smile.

" You don't need to fight in my stead, And you don't need to Thank me, I just did what I felt right yesterday. Every kid deserves to enjoy their childhood to the fullest without any mental trauma. Besides, it's not like we will be fighting in real life, It's just a virtual dual. " Avion said with an indifferent voice as he stared at the entrance door of the virtual hall.

" That's precisely the problem. Academy board has decided to make your duel physical. So, Avion let me handle this, please? " Zeref said with a guilty tone.

" Oh! So they decided to do it physical, Huh?. But I won't back down now. I am not the one to back down when I accepted something. " Avion said in a deep tone while looking at the direction of Russell in the distance who was chatting with Freya.

' Today, I'll definitely defeat him. ' Avion thought firmly as he glared at Russell which the latter saw and glared back with a snicker.

" The rules are simple, You can't kill each other. Other than that you are free to do anything you want with them. " The judge said as he looked in both directions and got ready to announce the start of the Fight.

 Avion summoned his Naginata and gripped it tightly while staring daggers at Russell.

 Russell wielded a scythe which was twice the size of his own body.

 After seeing that the both parties were ready, The Judge brought down his raised arm announcing the start of the duel. 

 Just as the judge brought down his arm a huge shock wave reverberated across the arena as the dust flew everywhere obscuring vision of every spectator present there.
