Jiang Ran

It all started when I wrote a terrible novel, according to readers, it was too cliche for anyone's taste and soon I started getting terrible reviews from the readers....but it all changed when I got into a terrible accident.

"what is this?.....am I dead??"

and a strange message popped up.

[congratulations host! you have been selected by the villain system!!]

soon I learnt that in order to go back to my world, I have to live as the villain and get face slapped by the main character till the end of story....at first, I didn't like the idea of being a villain one bit...

but as the story progressed, I started getting into the villain character little by little.

I did many morally questionable things...but in order to not lose my morality, I also started pulling strings behind the scenes to make amends....according to the villain system, I cannot act like a good person infront of any characters, so I used a persona of a hero.

as the villain Jiang Ran, I created problems for the main character and heroines, then got face slapped and humiliated.....and as the hero White Knight, I helped the heroines and everyone who were close to me.

Sometimes it also infuriated me that the main character was just someone who chased skirts instead of doing things that the main character should do..... everytime a heroine was in trouble, he was having his date with another heroine....there was not a single moment when I didn't thought that, "how could someone like him be a main character!!".

.....but It was me who made him....he was my creation, and soon... I realised how bad my novel really was....

as time went by, I also started writing diary entries every single day to make sure I didn't really become a villain.

And after seven years, I was finally able to get to the ending....the villain getting killed by the hero....but I had a lot to get out of my chest, and so I did....

In my final moments, I told all the heroines everything I couldn't tell during my time as the villain.

and with that I finally died and went back to my world.....at least that's what I thought would happen.....but...

"huh?? wha....what happened??"

I regressed to the time when I started as the villain Jiang Ran....

it meant that this time I can go back to my world faster than in the before...but after spending a lot of time in this world, I got a little too accustomed to it so I decided to take things slow.

at first things looked the same, but soon I realised just how much things have changed....the heroines started acting strangely.

all of them started getting a little to close to me.....the sister who was estranged to me, started calling me her dear brother, my fiancee, Zhen Jia Li, who used to hate my guts started treating me good.....and even our family business partner's daughter and my fiancee's close friend Zhong Li Lin started flirting with me....

at first I was shocked!! but soon my villain system said that "they are only acting like this because they have become conscious about their surroundings and acting like real people instead of just characters.."

and I believed it.....but then I noticed the one who's the most strange, the main character.....

In the first event during my birthday, I thought he's gonna show up with my fiancee.....but he didn't, instead he showed up with the Su family's daughter, then when I thought about pouring wine on his suit, it turned out my father was friends with this man.... although later on, I found out that my sister Xie is the one who got him close to father, things keep getting weirder.....

just like yesterday, when me, Jia Li and my sister Xie Xing got abducted by some unknown people..

and now here I am...

"system!! I want an answer right now!!"

as I said that, system finally opened up it's mouth....

apparently after yesterday's incident, the Zhen family ordered me to stay close to their daughter.....now that I think about it, things went wild inside the Zhen household....

he was scolding me because I wasn't there to guard his daughter when she got abducted, Guess Jia Li didn't told him it was her who ordered me not to come there...

just as I was about to apologize to Mr. Zhen, she intervened.

"I was the one who told him to stay at the mansion!!"

even Mr. Zhen was a little shocked....

at this moment I looked at Jia Li, as I tight my fists...

'Jia Li.....you ...YOU BITCH!!'

<whoa!! calm down host!! I know how much you wanted Mr. Zhen to relieve you from this duty but atleast be a little grateful to her, you ungrateful bitch!!>

'but....but I thought I could finally go back to the Su family and relax as Little Mei's bodyguard..... speaking of Little Mei, I haven't met her for a long time....maybe I should find some time to meet her...'

After the whole situation got cleared, Jia Li went back and Mr. Zhen apologized for blaming me for yesterday's incident and even said that he'll make sure I'll get a good bonus.

'NO!!! if you want to apologise....just fire me from this position and send me back to the Su family!!'

she replied, while looking out of the window...

she refused in an instant.

"remember how angry father was with you, and after yesterday's incident he didn't want you to leave me even for a single second!!"

'and whose fault is it in the FIRST place...bitch!'

after being in an awkward situation for a while I decided to just tell her the reason.

"oh no I was just thinking about visiting the Su mansion for some time..."

"why?"

she asked again without any reaction, just looking outside the window.

"oh nothing much..... I just thought about meeting with Mr. Su and explain him how yesterday's incident wasn't my fault.."

"and spending some time with Su family's youngest daughter, you know I was her bodyguard right? and I promised her that I'll meet her on my free time."

and she granted my permission in an instant.

but if this continues father might fire him and he'll go to the Su family....and if that happens, I won't be able to execute my perfect revenge plan on him.

the plan to embarrass him infront of everyone inside the Zhen company.

and so I decided to intervene...

after I explained the situation perfectly to dad, I looked at Xin, hoping for him to atleast have this much decency to thank me for taking his side....but he didn't, what a fucking bastard.....he must be thinking I saved his ass because I have feelings for him.....bitch keep dreaming and I will make sure to turn this dream into your worst nightmare!!
