Chaotic Third Event (part 1)

(note: the moon splitter staff is actually a spear, not a staff....it was my mistake)

The third event of this novel was pretty simple.....

An auction was held by the queen of Underworld, Ying Xiu ya, who is also the forth heroine of this novel...

in the first timeline, Xin easily gets the moon splitter Spear since he had connections with Xiu ya, Ran who was waiting for the spear gets angry on him and tries to attack him, only to be humiliated by the forth heroine and finally he gets kicked out of the casino....

however.... in the second timeline, the moon splitter Spear wasn't on the display, when the auction was held....when Xin tries to inquire Xiu ya, she tells him that she's giving it to Ran for free.....

feeling unjust, Xin attacks Ran...but was stopped by the Xiu ya, who orders Xin to not only apologise to Ran for attacking him....but also never show up in the casino or anywhere near.....if he does, she'll make sure to kill him...then she kicks him out....

and now I'm inside her casino with several wealthy businessmen and politicians, who are eagerly waiting for the auction to start..

to be honest, this event wasn't that hard to in the first place...the only reason the whole fight started was because Xin didn't get the moon splitter Spear, but I don't need it and the objective doesn't specify that I should get the spear.....so, I'll easily survive this time.

.....Maybe I should just stop being this optimistic.....

"so....do you have any explanation for this?"

the one who said this, was none other than one of the most beautiful women of this country as well as my former employer..

".... about what exactly?"

her expression became grim..

"Li Lin told me about this so called 'mission' of yours..."

as she said this, I realised how I didn't explained everything to Li Lin about my situation, to be honest.... I should've expected this..... Jia Li and Li Lin were both best childhood friends, of course she would tell her about what she heard.....

".... whatever she said is a lie!! Miss Zhen!!!"

but before I could say anything else.... someone put their hand on my shoulder....and a cold voice...

" Feng Xin.....are you saying that I'm a really big liar..."

if people would have seen this, they would have thought that I was a two timer.....but in reality, I don't want anything to do with these two!!! good thing that we were at a scheduled location....so there weren't many people here..

<host, you're such a player, aren't you?>

finally I decided to eat up all my shame that I had left and said.....

"yes.... it's true.... whatever Miss Zhong told you is truth....it was my mission to seduce you.."

hearing this, Jia Li's grim expression turned to a confused one.....and Li Lin asked..

".....but why?"

"... because..... I'm a gold digger...the first time when I saw you... I thought that if I seduce you, I could easily get rich"

both of them first looked at each other for a second and then they both looked at me with a disgusted face as if I was worst then trash...

<don't worry host!! your sacrifice won't be in vain....*sniff**sniff*>

soon both of them left....it was a good thing that there were not many people....or else I would've been a certified gold digger by now..

<....so...how does it feel, losing the rest of your shame.>

<btw host.....what are you gonna do about the moon splitter Spear.....since it's not gonna be on display...>

<...if you're not interested in the moon splitter Spear, does that mean you're not gonna attend the auction?..>

'yes....yes I'm not.....to be honest, I have seen every item that is on display.....and none of them is suitable for my taste....also, there's something more important for me...'

and with that I left for the restroom, after few minutes, I finally found one at the second floor...

" WHY IN THE GOD'S NAME IS THE RESTROOM ON THE SECOND FLOOR!!!"

'the casino is at the ground floor, the auction is happening on the first floor!! then I don't understand why the restroom is at the second floor!!'

however something was strange here...there was not a single soul on this side of the second floor....but...the more important problem at hand was....there was a renovation sign outside the restroom.....

<host.....maybe you should check somewhere else....>

"....that won't be needed, there is no renovation happening here..."

I said as I went inside to check the restroom..

"why is there a renovation sign outside if there's no renovation happening...well whatever..."

I brushed this off as thinking maybe someone must be pulling a really bad prank.....and that too at a place like this.....

'...damn this casino is so luxurious, even the restroom is awesome....'

without wasting my time, I went inside one of the bathroom stall....

' hmm.... let's see, since all I have to do is go away from this place after ran gets his moon splitter Spear, I'll just leave this place immediately and boom!! I'll get my sweet rewards!!'

but soon I realised, I haven't seen the rewards yet....

' system show me-'

but before I could ask the system, I started hearing many from the outside...

"hey...have you checked all the stalls!!"

"yeah I did!! I also put the sign 'renovating' sign out there.....to be honest I even used one of the stalls..."

".... there's not a single person on this floor....why did you even bother putting the sign outside!!!"

"...nobody should know that we're planning to assassinate the queen of Underworld...."

there were three guys talking outside..... planning to assassinate the forth heroine....

<host!! you should do something!!>

' I'm not.....didn't I tell you, saving the heroines is not my job..... it's Ran's.'

<how can you be such a selfish asshole, you're the main character and...>

before system could continue, I got a new minor event....and as expected, it was....

(minor event: stop the assassins)

I was about to decide whether to save Xiu ya or not by seeing the rewards....but..

<host....you know....to be honest, I believe it's better for you to not get involved..>

'what....but why??'

<..... because...>

before system could make any excuse, I peeked at the rewards, most of them were normal..... except for one ...

[extra reward: key to the shrine of fate]

'...temple of....fate..'

I noticed how the same thing happened before.... everytime I find something that might be related to this world or the otherworldly items.... system stops me....

' system...are you hiding something?'

I asked the system....but no answer came...

'system?'

<...host this is for your own good, you shouldn't....>

after a moment of silence.... system finally spoke again..

<...but even if I try to stop you.....you wouldn't stop.....FINE!! I'll tell you the truth... that is if you're able to survive this minor event....>

'right.....but you have to tell me everything..... so that I can trust you system.....'

<haha....as if you trust me now...>

after that I went out of my bathroom stall, only to find out there are seven guys in total.....

"hey!! who are you?!"

"you fucker!! you said there's no one on this floor!!"

"he must have heard about the assassination!!!.."

I ignored their voices and calmly washed my hands on the sink...

"YOU FUCKER!! DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME!! I SAID WHO-ARGH!!"

Before he could say anything else, I used an uppercut on him, seeing that, another guy ran towards me, trying to punch my face but I evaded that and used my elbow to hit his nose...both of them easily collapsed...

'great!! now five more left!!'

all five of them attacked me at once... I used a lower kick on the nearest one and then a back kick on his face which pushed him as well as the other guy behind him and both of them struck to one of the bathroom stalls and collapsed there.

"he's just one guy!!"

another one screamed as he also charged towards me.

but I step aside and his punch hit the mirror glass, before he could comprehend what just happened, I grabbed the back of his head and smashed his face on the broken mirror then his head on the sink.

"now only you two are left!!"

but one of them went outside and said...

"hold him!! I'm calling leader Chen!!"

and then he ran away, as my attention went from the door to the one last guy remaining, he made a strange stance...is it... boxing??

he then used a fast uppercut on me, which I dodged by the length of my hairs....

' fuck!!'

<host the third event has started!!!>

'what!? I need to hurry!!'

after that I charged at him and used a punch...he easily avoided it....but soon he realised....

" a faint!!"

before he could think anything else, he got hit by my back kick on his gut and soon he knocked out..

"....fuck!! I'm already this late!!"

just as I was about to reach the door handle, someone else came in.....

"well.... I did heard that someone was beating up my underlings....but I wasn't expecting you at all.... Xin..."

it was a tall and well built guy, with brown hair, but the most important thing about him was...

" BTW...do you know? I always wanted to do..."

his strength, which I noticed right after he punched me....

"THIS!!"

I used my hands to guard up against his punch...but still...

'FUCK!! THIS HURTS LIKE BITCH!!'

<host!! isn't he!!>

' that's Chen Han Go, the only villain of the novel..... who was able to almost defeat Ran.....and the one who actually went pretty good against Tai Long!! fighting against him is like fighting against a lesser version of Chow...since he was master Chow's student....'

'... guess I'm gonna be late for this event after all!!'
