"KNEEL"

My voice echoed through the streets filled with anger and hatred, The empty skyscrapers and silent streets seemed to amplify my words. I had held back all my life. Stayed quiet where I should have spoken. I Sat back and watched where I should have stood up for myself and I had lived to regret every single one of those decisions, every time I thought of the past, moments filled with regret slapped me in the face, I couldn't remember any moment of my life without having one of those moments shoved in my face.

The only desire I have now is to die at the hands of Thalia, so until my death, I do not want any more regrets. I want something to look forward to when my life flashes before me in my final moments. I want at least one part I can look forward to, something I can watch without harboring regret. And in this moment I feel that if I don't do something, this would also become one of those regret-filled moments again.

When I die I want to feel like I amounted to something, that my existence had some meaning, even if it's just at the end of my life, I want to feel an ounce of happiness.

[Channel Ask-#98715 has been expanded by the bureau]

[Indirect messages have been resumed]

[Message log cannot be retrieved]

[Constellation Prisoner Of Paranoia hates the incarnation Niven]

[Constellation Indomitable Champion Of Chaos wants you to decapitate incarnation Niven]

[The constellation behind the incarnation Niven is revealing his modifier]

[Consellation The Architect Of Chaos is giving an evil smile]

[Constellation The Architect Of Chaos is enjoying his cup of Bhang]

[Constelations Ruler of Vanir and Enchantress of Folkvanger ....]

I turned the indirect messages aside. The people gathered around Niven turned to look at me, their faces slowly turning angry. "Who are you to ask us to kneel before you?". Niven shouted. He wasn't standing on the platform and somehow there was a podium on the platform through which he was giving his speech.

[Incarnation Niven has used the skill Incite Lv.8]

As if to respond to his question the people in his audience started shouting in my direction. "We don't take orders from anyone."

"We are free people."

"We would never take orders from a man like you."

My anger was reaching new heights. I heard the dokkaebi laughing in the air. Both his hands were now clutching his stomach and a tiny tear formed by excessive laughter was leaving his eyes.

[Skill Blood Lust Lv.3(+1) has been activated]

[Attribute Ruthless is increasing the effect of skill Blood Lust]

As if to respond to my anger the skill activated with a will of its own. I glared at the crowd before me, a hint of fear had crawled its way into their eyes.

"I don't remember giving you all permission to speak." I said in the most calm voice I could muster.

[You have activated the king's authority on all incarnations in the Uttarkshetra area]

Pressure formed in the area around us and silence fell upon the surroundings. A few people reached for their mouths as if to confirm its existence. They tried to speak but not a word could escape their mouths which had now become a prison.

"Who are you to ask us to keel before you, you asked right?" I asked, directly looking at Niven as I approached him, looking directly into his eyes.

"I am your king!

"Now KNEEL"

[You have activated the king's authority on incarnation Niven of the Uttarkshetra area]

He moved his head forward and backward wanting to speak something but not a word left his mouth. He fell to his knees and looked at me, fear visible in his eyes as he awaited my next move. I walked up onto the podium and looked at the crowd gathered around.

"I want to make one thing clear, this is not an election but a coronation to select the strongest incarnation in the area. I'm sure you must have realized by now that the world as you know it is already over. The rules here are not made by elected representatives but that dokkaebi floating above you."

"You think this idiot will lead you in the harshness of the scenarios? If this was a normal society as it was a few days ago. Then maybe, no even then this corrupt politician was not fit to be a leader. I'm sure you mindless creatures haven't noticed the Rolex on his wrist." I pointed to the Rolex hanging on his wrist.

"Makes you wonder where a politician got that kind of money from"

What am I doing I'm not here to run an electoral campaign or make speeches.

"I won't force you all to follow me. If you do not want to be here join some other area Uttarkshetra isn't the only area in the Shuruwat dome. I'll give you an hour, those willing to follow me stay behind the others are free to join another area."

I prefer having a small circle of trustworthy people rather than potential traitors. It saves me the trouble of constantly looking over my shoulders, not that I expect a single one of them to stay.

As soon as the words left my mouth the gathering burst into a discussion of their own. I'm sure they were shouting at me but with everyone shouting I couldn't understand one word they said. Not that I planned to address it.

"Who would want to follow a psychopath leader like you?"

"I won't follow someone who killed his brother"

"How are we supposed to trust-"

I wasn't planning on saying anything but the hypocrisy here was getting on my nerves.

"Listen here, let's not point fingers here. Everyone here is a murderer, you all are here because you killed someone to clear the first scenario. Instead of being hypocrites and paining me as a murderer to satisfy your conscience decide if you're gonna stay or not. If you choose to leave and I find you here in an hour consider it a death sentence."

A blue window appeared before all the other incarnations in the area. A few had already decided that I was too crazy to lead them and were walking away. Some were looking all around them waiting for others to decide for them while some were frozen in place and staring at either me or the window before them.

[Current Group: 5 people]

Well, at least it's not zero. One was me and one was Aes.....As .... the ex-military guy with the weird name who I knocked out as for the remaining three. I looked around and what I found made me wish that only me and Aes.....Aes....the ex-military guy had remained. Side note to self - I'll ask for his name once he wakes up.
