Reward

Theo woke up as usual and did his morning ritual by getting a new Zombie that he would train to being a farmer and take care of the fruit plantations he had made for Copper, and another skeleton warrior. After breakfast, in which he used up an extra piece of meat on account of his new slave, he began his day seeing the looted resources of Gael's camp.

He managed to recover 50 logs from the small house, destroyed by Amethyst in addition to 30 more found in the camp, 40 stones, 2 energy stones. Some skins, meat and fruits, but what impressed him most was the construction plan for a basement.

Questioning Gael, he discovered that one of his units found a white wolf almost dying after a difficult fight and when that unit took advantage of the fact to kill it, all that was left was this plant. Despite his luck being less than his, Theo never got a plant, not even when he fought the bear.

To build this basement he would need a lot of stone, as it would have to be entirely made of stones totaling 300 stones and would be the same size as the small house. With this, Theo concluded that 3 stones could play the role of a log in terms of construction, if he wanted to improve his house to be completely made of stone, he would need a total of 600 stones.

After considering for a while, he decided to try to do both since later his wood would be undervalued and the stone overvalued, making the expense greater for him. He then ordered his units to make a greater effort in cutting down trees in the coming days, so that he could finish everything before disaster struck. Amethyst and her ghost companion were in the forest looking for more information about goblin villages or other races, as well as other players.

Theo then sat down with Copper in his house and removed the chest from his inventory, to finally discover his reward for defeating another player. He placed the chest on the floor in front of him and carefully opened it, the light that came out this time was not as strong and was not the same color either. Previously the light was silver, and now it was bronze, which he deduced to be a classification below, that is, the classifications would be, bronze, silver, and gold from lowest to highest.

Without wasting any more time rambling about things that were out of his reach at the moment, he looked at what he had in the trunk, and it was certainly of a lower rank than before. This contained two things, a book and a pair of black leather boots, first he looked at the book.

Theo thought about something and decided to choose not to, so he called Gael and ordered him to tell him which skill would appear and not to use the book. He took the book and said that the skill was 'Lightning Dart', so they discovered the element with which Gael had the most affinity.

Even though his ability was defense and his slave's was attack, Theo figured it might have something to do with his staff already having an earth element attack ability. He learned the skill, but told Gael that one day when he trusted him, he would give him a magical ability or even the chance to become a wizard.

Having little MANA, he didn't try to use his new skill for now, but would test it as soon as he could, and use it to protect himself in case of an attack. With the staff in his inventory, all he needed to do was think about it, and it would appear in his hand, making it easier to enter combat quickly.

Now it was the turn of the boot he had won, he first analyzed the information before placing it.

As soon as he put on the boots, he felt like he was barefoot because the boots were so light. And he could also feel that if he ran now he would be faster and more agile, and could even avoid obstacles with some ease. He wouldn't test it now, but it would certainly be useful for escaping or chasing enemies later when he was strong enough to hunt with his skeletons.

Leaving the house, Theo saw Amethyst entering the camp accompanied by another ghost, they introduced themselves to the lord with a bow, then she began to report while her companion went to recover his energy in the mausoleum. In her report, she said that she had discovered more than one village of creatures that could be attacked with her current strength, one was of goblins and two of kobolds, as well as one of humanoid beings.

To her, they looked like her lord's race, but they had many appendages, some looked like gas bubbles, others with roots that came out of different parts of the body. Not even Theo knew what race these beings were, and they could even be a race participating in the game. So he ordered his other ghost to focus on acquiring more information about them, while Amethyst would guide the skeletons to exterminate the nearest goblin village.

With this, he would gain many more energy stones and resources that could be used to improve his house, as well as building the basement and a few other things that could be useful against the players. Perhaps even preventing the disaster that would come in a few days to test all the races in the game, he hoped to get another watchtower to place at the back of his camp for greater security.

Before long, it was noon, and he was selling all the trees that his skeletons had cut down, leaving Gael's for him to build his house once he had the full quantity. What made the process difficult was that the temporary shelters required logs and had to be built every day. Causing him to use up the ones he was saving for the house or sleep without a roof over his head to get to the total faster.
