Big Harvest

Theo was extremely happy and hadn't even counted his gains in resources or whatever he could get from the bodies of the goblins that now piled up in his camp. After calming down for a moment, he went to check everything he had gained from this attack.

The abundance of resources wasn't much, but it was certainly worth the effort of the attack, he got 200 stones, 500 logs, 50 iron ores, and 20 pieces of iron made after refining the ores in a furnace. He also obtained the weathered iron weapons that the goblins used, bows that were too small for his units to use, and some leather armor that he had not intended to use as they were small and smelled too bad.

But in the midst of all this, he found something that caught his attention, a staff with a stone that had a slight glow around it. Taking it in his hand, Theo examined it, focusing his attention on it to see its information.

[Goblin Mage Staff]

[Weapon]

[Affinity: Earth]

[Staff that was created by a beginner goblin wizard, by using magic related to Earth for many years, acquired a certain affinity for the element. Increases the user's MANA by 5. Basic Magic: Stone Bullet, which can be used 5 times a day at no cost.]

Theo was now over the moon, it had always been his dream to use magic, like in novels and anime. He had already given up on this when he saw that his status was 0 MP, but now he could use this magic at no cost, and it would still increase his status to 5 MP. It was as if he was receiving an early Christmas present. The staff was made of what looked like a tree root woven into shiny stone, it was the same length as Theo's arm from shoulder to wrist.

The first thing he did was test the magic by aiming at the body of one of the goblins to get a sense of its effective damage, so he pointed the staff's stone at the goblin and recited.

"Stone Bullet."

As soon as his voice disappeared, a singularly shaped stone appeared in front of the staff, being thrown towards the goblin's body. When he hit him in the leg, it detached from his body, with the strength of magic, Theo could kill a goblin with a single shot if he could correctly aim at the head or chest, which were vital points.

After testing the magic, he approached the bodies that smelled a lot, but holding back the urge to vomit, he still touched the one whose leg he had ripped off. Then he received the notification that he could collect and chose, yes, the body quickly crumbled into dust, and all that was left was a stone similar to the one on the staff.

Theo took it and analyzed it, to his surprise, it was one of the materials for improving the mausoleum that he was wondering how to get.

[Energy Stone]

[Contains a lot of natural energy inside. It can be used as a battery for different projects, as well as being used to increase the level of the recruitment building.]

Upon learning that the goblins could give these stones as loot, Theo quickly collected their bodies one by one. Unfortunately, not all the goblins gave an energy stone, some of them just gave dirty fabric, which must have come from their loincloths, which were the only clothing they wore. Theo had an idea of how to use them, but he would have to ask one of his skeletons to do the work of washing them.

He would disassemble them into strands of fabric that he would use to make rope on the loom. He would only need to create the loom and place it close to his house so that the smell would not permeate it.

In total, he got 45 stones, less than half of what was needed to level up his recruitment building. But now that he knew how to get the stones, he wouldn't stand still, this was a 3-in-1 method, as it increased the level of his units and his own and also gave him a lot of resources.

So he planned to find more goblin villages or other similar creatures to attack, gaining many resources that were now essential. With all the stones he got today, he could finish one of the side walls of the wall, the rest he could get by selling all the wood he wouldn't use for the fire and the loom.

Creating more packages, he put them up for sale in the trade section and waited for them to sell. This wouldn't take long, and in that time he could create the wall, with all his skeletons in the camp. Theo ordered his level one unit to go out to level up, killing small and medium animals and bringing back their bodies.

Theo even planned to create backpacks for his units to use when they went hunting, so they wouldn't have to go back and forth multiple times. To save time that could be spent working, the rest of the units were ordered back to the work of felling trees, but now Theo wanted them to leave a line of trees that would serve as a natural wall.

Leaving his skeletons to work alone, he turned his attention to the wall, and after completing another part, he took a break to eat. The afternoon passed quickly, and soon night came, leaving the forest dark and gloomy. Theo then prepared to go to sleep. But before he could get home, he heard screeching and angry screams coming from the forest, and the next thing he saw were several goblins attacking his barrier.

A smile formed on his face, he could get more energy stones, today who wouldn't be happy with resources knocking on their door, he ordered the skeletons to kill them. Everything was finished quickly, as there were only a dozen of them.

Of those 12 goblins that came, 5 gave stones, bringing Theo's total to 50, half of what he needed. These must have been a hunting team that was not in the village when the skeletons attacked, but somehow managed to track their dead friends here, perhaps due to the smell of blood that remained in the forest.
