9 Disregard
(*Narrator POV*)
A boy was laying down on the street full of bruises and signs of malnutrition. People that saw him just walked past him without even batting an eye at the poor boy. This boy is of course Carl in a different body. But he still hasn't regained any consciousness because of universal travel. As he lay down on the street some spat down on him or kicked him testing if he was still alive. A few minutes passed and Carl finally regained his consciousness.
"Argh!" Carl distinctively said as he felt his head hurting and felt the pain of his bruises all over his body.
The people that were circling him suddenly left as if nothing happened. As Carl was holding on to his head he then saw a large wall surrounding a whole city. As he was in a state of confusion he suddenly realized where he was.
(*Change POV*)
"I'm in ATTACK ON TITAN?!" I said to myself, I was confused. About all the places that I could be in, I'm stuck in attack on titan. This is shit! I'm not even a fan of AOT I only know some of the story
I felt my body was like a punching bag, all beaten up, and felt pain all over my body. I quickly looked at the state of my body, so many bruises and I haven't fought anything yet. What in the hell happened to me?
[I congratulate you on regaining your consciousness.]
"Well, I hope I can get a proper explanation for what happened to me.]
[As we were transporting the host we encountered a slight problem with the teleporter.]
"What kind of problem is it? Was it a malfunction? Or was it something else?"
[We encountered a 4th-dimensional being eyeing your existence.]
"Whoa! Seriously? I can't even fathom what they look like. That's honestly so scary to think of."
[It was kind of a hassle to let you go off their sight. We decided to transfer you into a universe where they could not reach you."
"So that's why you chose AOT. So what should I do now? And were there any problems that happened to me?"
[Yes, your past body was destroyed because of the close encounter with the 4th-dimensional being.]
"Wait! You mean I am now in the body of some random person?"
[No, not technically. You were given the body of a boy named Ran Abel.]
"Just as I said, a random person."
[...]
"What? And so moving on what should I do next?"
[Open your status first. We will be giving you a different status befitting that of an Ackerman.]
"So, I was in a family lineage of Ackermans? So this body wasn't just some random kid?"
[Of course, why would we threaten the contractor that we bonded to his survival?]
"Oh, well. That is great to hear!"

Satisfied with seeing my status I asked the system again what I should do next and it said to treat my bruises and cleaned them up first.
And so I walked down the road feeling the gazes of the people around me. And then I saw a canal that looked strangely clean so I looked down at the water and saw a reflection of a boy with a dirty face and unkempt hair. Brown eyes, brown hair, and bruises all over his body, and over 144cm in height.
I checked how deep the water of the canal was while holding onto the concrete road. As I felt the bottom of my feet hitting the bottom the water only reached the bottom of my rib cage. And so I took off my shirt revealing all kinds of wounds and bruises there were also whip marks on the boy's back. I keep thinking about what just happened to this body's owner.
When I finally finished cleaning myself I heard a loud banging sound. Then I saw people running towards the sound and I saw three particular children. One was holding a book with blonde hair styled with long hair. And a girl with a red scarf and black hair just right behind a boy. With black hair, there weren't any noticeable features to this boy but he was the most important. It was Eren, Mikasa, and Armin and I hope I'm not right it's today that the colossal titan will destroy the walls...
I followed just right behind them and as I was coming out of the alleyway I could already hear the people shouting. I then saw steam coming from the thunder-like sound I heard before. And then a hand was grabbing the wall and a few seconds later we could see a titan with a deformed face and there wasn't any skin whatsoever.
The people saw this and all panicked, despaired and felt their reality coming to an end.
As the people were in distress the titan suddenly put its hands on the wall then a few seconds later a loud rumble could be heard. A wave of air suddenly rushed in causing the people to fall. The debris of the broken wall came raining down on people, I saw people getting crashed as the debris landed on them. Houses getting demolished by the rocks that flew over. This was the worst possible day for humanity.
When the hole was created the colossal titan suddenly disappeared like it wasn't there a few minutes ago. Afterward, I heard people suddenly shouting.
"THEY BLEW A HOLE INTO THE HOLE!"
"THEY'RE COMING IN!"
"THE TITANS ARE COMING!"
"I DON'T WANNA DIE!"
"RUN AWAY!!"
"PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME HERE! I'M STUCK PLEASE SOMEONE!!"
"SAVE YOURSELF THE TITANS ARE COMING!
"RUN AWAY!"
The people ran towards the inner walls hoping it could save them. As they were running I saw figures of titans coming in from the broken wall some were smiling, some were small, some were big, and some had big heads but small bodies. They kept on coming in and more and more followed through the hole. And then I saw Eren but I couldn't hear what he was saying. But suddenly they ran forward so I'm thinking it was where their house is.
Thinking if I was able to even help them or not. Should I change the plot or not? Do I even have the right to do so? I never wanted to be a hero or anything I just wanted to survive. That is even why I have the system because it's for my survival. But looking around I saw people in need, people needed help. I soon think to myself.
"Was I this selfish?" thinking to myself why have all of this power if I couldn't even save some lives? I approached Armin as I was thinking.
"Are they your friends?"
"WAH!" Armin shouted like a girl.
"Y-yes, they're my friends. Who are you?"
"Shouldn't you go after them? My name is Ran Abel."
"Armin- Armin Arlert."
"Well, Armin? are you not going after them? They are your friends right?"
"I- I can't... the titans are coming. what if." I cut him off by saying.
"No, No you're right. Armin, you should go to the boat."
"B-But what about them?" I felt him feeling guilty leaving his friends.
"But they're your friends, right? They can probably understand why you fled."
"But they were always there when I needed help. And I can't even help them now?"
"Survival is much more important Armin, let's go to the boat."
"O-okay."
As soon as Armin got on the boat I quietly rushed toward where Eren and Mikasa went
As I dashed through the road I saw titans scattered around the city, and people screaming for help. I could only turn a blind eye to their suffering because I can't do much to save them. I have no healing stands whatsoever and my stand is only for killing. And so I only focused on the most important person in the story and it was Eren. I pulled out the mask I bought before and wore it so they wouldn't recognize me.
I arrived at the scene but a titan was already there and a person that had the vertical maneuvering equipment only stared at the titan with a hopeless face. A woman was shouting at him while she was trapped under the rubble of her own house it was Eren's mom.
"MR. HANNES! YOU MUSTN'T FIGHT IT! please take the children and get away!"
"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME CARLA!! I'LL SLAY THIS TITAN AND SAVE ALL THREE OF YOU! AFTER WHAT YOUR FAMILY HAD DONE FOR ME, IT'S HIGH TIME I PAID BACK THE DEBT!"
"MR. HANNES! PLEASE!!"
For a long time, Hannes was just standing in front of the titan making a hard decision and the titan was still disgustingly smiling. Man, I hate this motherfucker.
A moment passed and Hannes finally moved and grabbed Mikasa and Eren while running away from the house.
"Thank you..." Carla said while sobbing under the rubble but this made Eren mad at Hannes.
"H-HEY!! M-MR. HANNES WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? HEY... MY MOM IS STILL..."
"EREN, MIKASA! SURVIVE!" Carla said while still sobbing.
This should be my turn then. As I ran past Hannes and Eren while holding the rocks that had been touched by my killer queen, I ran towards the titan shouting.
"HEY FUCK! COME AND GET ME YOU DISGUSTING PIECE OF SHIT!"
"W-Who are you!? run away now! before it's too late!" Noticing my small frame Carla was even more desperate to make me leave.
"I'm sorry ma'am but I can't do that."
"W-what do you mean!?" I just nodded at her and proceeded to throw rocks at the titan grabbing its attention towards me.
I quickly fled when it was chasing behind me while still throwing rocks at it keeping my distance to not get hit by its attacks. As soon as I think to myself I look like a hero right now, that's so cool. I continued running down the street where there weren't any people and decided to stop when the road was blocked.
"Man, I fucked up."
(*Carla POV*)
A mysterious child suddenly threw stones at the titan grabbing their attention towards him, I thought to myself.
"I just killed a kid." I was stuck under the rubble and couldn't move one bit and saw Hannes and Eren coming back.
"C-Carla... Who was that?"
"I don't know Mr. Hannes but it looked like a child."
"A-a child!? You mean... He sacrificed himself!?" As soon as Hannes arrived Eren and Mikasa jumped down Hannes's back and started lifting the rubble around me.
"Mom! was that person from the Survey Corps!?" I turned grim at the question Eren asked me but I couldn't lie to them, not about the child that sacrificed himself for me.
"No Eren... It was kid Eren. He sacrificed himself for me." Looking at Eren's face his face was in disbelief, Hannes suddenly said.
"Did he say the reason why?"
"When I told him to leave he only said that he can't do that."
"We shouldn't disregard his sacrifice, Carla. Let's get you out of that rubble Carla, Mikasa, and Eren help me with this." Hannes said while still in disbelief.
(*Ran POV*)
This is what I was scared of being blocked by walls. Blood will go all over me, I sighed while looking at the titan from before that I blew up.
"This is seriously disgusting, Am I a germaphobe here? Is this the Ackerman's blood doing? Am I connected to Levi?" But suddenly the titan regenerated from being blown up
"Are you fucking serious right now bro? Now I thought blowing them up into smithereens could work but seriously it doesn't. Man fuck this logic." A few minutes later the titan from before suddenly was fine and standing tall as if nothing happened.
"Well, this was a huge drawback." I ran towards it and touched its legs with my killer queen only blowing up its legs. It fell creating a loud thumping noise on the ground. As it lay down I touched its nape with my killer queen and blew it up. Revealing its spine and the blood from the titan suddenly burst out hitting me. It was incredibly hot but it wasn't unbearable and so I jumped down from the titans' nape to get away. A few moments later steam was released from the titan only leaving the bones.
I soon left and went back to Eren but when I got back there were already people helping them lift the rubbles. And so I left them and went to the boat, I put back my mask in my inventory when nobody was watching and ran towards the boat.

This actually was just me being bored no other reason so if you have problems with it let me know. I'm open with suggestions for what series I should I do when I finish AOT das all bye.
