Holding her red neck when can see a red-haired girl, tears coming out of her eyes, and her usual smile nowhere to be seen.
Her mind was chaotic, finally realized what she had done.
What she had been told by Jack had made her do a reality check, and she finally realized something, since when is it normal to read people's minds without permission? Doesn't this mean that Professor Charles is also evil? He doesn't only read minds he also controls them sometimes.
Suddenly when on her mind the idea of Charles Xavier could be evil came, a splitting headache came, as if the mere thought of this possibility was hurting her.
The headache remained for 10 seconds, but suddenly a strange transparent flame covered her body and the headache disappeared, same goes for the psychic lock that had been put in her mind.
Hundreds of memories filled her mind, times she had seen Charles torture students for experiments, where he raped girls by making them puppets, she had also tried with her, but thanks to her ability surpassing his, not skill wise thought, she was able to resist the attacks, only resulting in a psychic lock to block all memories of his evil actions.
The flames covering her body were slowly becoming bigger and bigger, what looked like red angle wings were starting to form on her back by the transparent flame,s her face slowly contorting more and more in anger, she wanted to kill that asshole, no she wanted to torture him until nothing was left of his mind, but before she could the flames on her body disappeared on its place a voice began speaking on her mind.
"Seems like the little bird finally woke up."
She was surprised by the voice, she had talked telepathically, and she was sure that the voice wasn't of a telepath but something directly inside her mind.
'Who are you?'
" I am the source of your powers, the being who saved you from becoming a puppet, and also the one that will help you with that kid."
'Thank you I guess, but that still doesn't answer my question.'
" I guess you are right, people call me Phoenix Force, an abstract being able to destroy the planet and solar systems simply willing for it to happen, I am fire and life incarnate, alive from the Big Bang since now, call me Phoenix."
'What do you want from me?'
"Seems like the kid was able to put some sense into you, I don't want anything apart for you to live, if there are no phoenix hosts, I will die, no matter how I die if no one nurtures me, I am no more then an energy, that's why I protected and gave you powers, but now that you meet an interesting guy, and you realized who are working with, I decide to help a little."
'Why now? Why not before? You know how lives could have been saved?' She thought with a dark face, while small flames began to form near her eyes.
" I know, but I don't care, mere thousands are nothing compared to billions upon billions of lives, if I gave you my power before, you would have been under that bastard, which would have resulted in you destroying Earth, the thing I am sure you don't want."
Jean calmed down and the flames in her eyes disappeared.
'Then what now?'
"Now we try to get help from the kid, or should I say monster? I am not even sure what he will become, quite sure he will be scary though."
'You mean Jack? He hates me, he won't help me.'
"He won't help you unless you have something to give him, and I surely have something that will greatly interest him."
'I hope it works.'

While that was happening I arrived home, and before going of my mirror dimension I checked the reward I had gotten from the mission reward.

Effect: Boost MP regen by 5 times, removes the previous boost, and gives the ability of Perfect recall, if you ever knew it, read it, saw it, heard it, you will remember it, no matter how long it has been.

Suddenly I felt the mana inside my body moves much faster than before, and almost explode by much as it was, but as soon as that feeling disappeared, only left behind a feeling of endless power.
I opened my status and noticed how from my previous 22'200 MP I currently have 112'000 MP and a regen of 224 MP per minute.
I am slowly becoming more and more of a magical machinegun, I think I have to create a skill that I can endlessly spam, I will think about it later, for now, Void Studying.
As soon as I thought about the skill, the world around me collapsed as if it was made of cover for the real world and someone had just removed it.
Around me, pure madness was happening, energies fusing to create unknown colors and shapes, first being 1 dimensional, then 2 dimensional, then 3 dimensional, 4, 5, and even beyond that, my mind stopped seeing it after it reached the 5 dimensions thought, simply y not intelligent enough to register the existing of something above the 4 dimensions.
Monsters come directly from nightmares, big as whole galaxies, and the smallest being big as a plane,t their shapes not describable by mere words, only possessing the objective of chaos due to their constantly changing shape and sounds.
All of my 5 senses are being hit by thousands of feeling all at the same time, but still not feeling anything, even being able to sense the passage of time and space, feeling the constant entropy of all the universe existing.
Only a second, that's how much I could last inside such chaos before Gamer's mind came into action and decided to deactivate the skill.
As soon as I came out I started breathing again, my mind almost exploding due to the amount of information it had received in a mere second.

Suddenly I gain back one of the strange feelings I had back in the void, I guessed it was the ability to perceive souls, this means that the monsters inside the void were souls.
I don't know, but what I know is that the only reason I didn't die there, was thanks to Gamer's mind, Body, and the Creator, so I guess thank you.
