1 What You Heard!

Survival,yh we got a lot of that crap a lot, probably most of us attribute it to horror climax movies or apocalypse (zombies for an example).When it clearly happens every goddamn day through our constant expliots,"chicks searching", finding inspiration, finding comfort, finding that perfect handsome guy,or mere hustling for your daily meal.These are basically ordinary and a conventional way of how things always have been.But what if u were fighting for your life? and as a bonus, you could get higher power and connection or u could just do this to live to see the next day.

'I Jade Alex which I go by name have been forced into this reality which even gets weirder considering there were no open paranormal events before,except some unproven voodoo praticioners claiming the impossible.Buh now we got all types of super powers u'd see in movies,or imagine or some that even defied imaginations. Scary and cool honestly'.Here presently where I stand in what looks like a state of the art arena for gladiators with spectators as crowds.Chants could be heard for a particular someone. Jade,Jade,Jade,Jade,Jade Alex,Jade Alex, Jadeee and so goes on the chants for the main event of the day.'Yep I guess my moment of truth is here once again,as these crowd chant my name, as I once again fight for my survival,as I step into the arena. Hails from mother fucking cunts who have lost all will of humanity(well not all of them though)and under the prying eyes of the lower divine coucil.This is what would be the equivalent of an ancient Rome gladatorial battles.These guys enjoy killings and blood,Stunts,Great show of skill, ingenious indecisive moments although contrary to all that have been said earlier,well they love entertainment better,and yh that's how I got a huge fanbase(that's would be a story for another day).

'So, why am I here?what kind of a world do I live in,buh more surprisingly why does a modern day society enjoy battles that could lead to the death of others.

'it's common knowledge some humans known in history have had a supposed claim to divinity, some to demonic powers,due to the fact they stumbled upon some relics or perform some certain rituals or routine that could give them "Power" or maybe because as humans we are wired to believe in some sort of God.Yh it's obvious there is always gonna be that power hungry monger out there, doing some shitty stuffs to gain "Power".

'Or if u are like me who don't rely on these shitty voodoos and do what a real man does.

Scientific research is how I got "powers",no I didn't inject myself with any substance,neither did I genetically modify my body.Instead I made an advanced Nano technology suit with an amazing AI(artificial intelligence) system and guess what!I was lucky too.Something that would forever shape human history'.

A break through came about,bloodlines of some present individuals started acting out,turns out some were from lineage of high powerful gods or angels.This lead to a sudden and unprecedented situation where everyone u knew suddenly got all kinds of amazing ability.Pfft am guessing after that spectacular event u'd probably thought the world would become chaotic and full of strife

Or a situation where some of the world's population got powers and others didn't,u'd think the less fortunate humans would be bullyed!.Hahahaha na na nope definitely that's note what happened,the gods which descended made absolute sure they were no chaos.More like the gods which ascended from this,or so they call themselves.Was there chaos?,yes there was of course,it'd be stupid to think the situation could be perfectly contained. Especially with the large loss of life count.

Organisations rose and formed for the fight for the newfound powers,disputes between alliances,sides formed,many battle sites left in disarray, deaths,deaths and even more deaths,in the end only some parts of the world can thrive whilst "the outside"even though occupied with the living,still looks desolate.The sad truth is we humans were playing into the hands of unseen forces and as at now have been stripped from our freedom.

'I Jade Alex vow to grow stronger and overcome many difficulties to reach the top and eliminate humanity "enemies"thereby restoring the freedom that was once ours'.'I swear to uphold my commitment to my goal no.matted who I have to sacrifice or push aside,the individuals I am up against are too vicious and relentless when it comes to mercilessness,well these are murmurs to no one in particular of course, as I reminisce about the not too distant unpleasant past I have had to witness'.Applauds and cheers snaps Jade out of his thoughts,he's finally stepped into the arena and is set for what would be the 12th round of the tournament which has just four more rounds to complete totally 16.This would be his first ever.

A computer like voice sounds all round the arena announcing the third and final opponent.This is going to be a three way match meaning triple threat,the first opponent named Ice T has been introduced already,making Jade the second to be introduced,they now await the third and final competitor.Robotic like voice begins the last introduction for the main event .

'She steps into the ring,Ladies,Gentlemen and fellow competitors,with just two losses from all tournaments ever participated in,no draws,53 wins,two tournaments victory to her name,Fan's fav to win this fight,and with a lot of womanliness to compliment her neat and well executed record,introducing Serene Heather's!'.Computer like voice ends the announcement.This was followed by louder cheers for her compared to that of Jade. She looks the other at her opponents with looks of what could best describe the words " you are so screwed".

**Damn this is going to be a really tough and demanding fight especially since I can't show my full power,least I risk the chance of not achieving my goals.Seems Ice T looks calmer than usual,I wonder what's going through his head**.These were all thoughts Jade was having.Serene has a very distinct ability of shrinking objects,which becomes very effective when she moves objects with attacking intent towards her opponents.Many competitors have lost fight against Serene solely for their inability to predict her attacks.In the past no one knew her ability,well untill her last lost which happened with a dude that bends probably bends fire.

Still knowing your opponents ability isn't enough, especially if that opponent is very versatile.No one and absolutely no one can win tournaments with absolute brute strength,only intelligence and outwitting actions can make an opponent become champion,and this why the Divine council goes through all the trouble of monitoring keeping an eye out for potential geniues.

'The following match rule is simple really,the fighter with the least amount of damage after 30 minutes emerges as the winner and moves on to the next round'words said by the "arena announcer" once again

The match is set,the crowds are set,the fighters are set,the 12th round is under way.

Serena is dressed looking smart as a badass.Black jackets black jeans,black boots.Makes u feel we could have Women in blacks. She seems to be holding a pouch which was stucked to her sides and just removed.

'I wonder what's in that pouch,hmm well I am not using my visual prowess ability,cause some of the members of the lower divine council are beginning to suspect my true abilities.Ice T seems to be staring intensely at the pouch too'.These are thoughts of Jade as follows.The fight has already begun buh no one seems to be making a move.What came along with the rules of this particular match where no one has to die buh can just sustain a few injuries is

- You must reduce the health bar of the chips injected to each opponents to atleast 50%

- This match doesn't need you to kill your opponents,but death is permitted

- A draw means all participants would be killed on the spot,which means losing is a much preferred options.

So with rules like that,anyone could opt out to lose rather than gambling with their lives.But as always, losing is never an easy choice considering the rewards that could be gained especially since only contestants of the 13th round would be granted freedom.Freedom u ask!,well in the present state all competitors find themselves,freedom is a goldmine.

**I have won two tournaments already,I know what freedom tastes like, having victories,wealth, underlyings.I mean look at this guys am up against,that guy named Ice T what's his power ice!(smirks)and that Jade dressed like he is going for a superhero suit,how will he intimidate fighters or win any girl's heart with childish clothes.I am going to leave them in ruins,dispirited if they even survive to feel that way in the first place**.Serene makes her face into a serious one once again although inwardly smiling at her thoughts.'ah jeez I know that face, it's the looks women give me cause of my acts of childishness and mode of weird dressing,well I can't blame her or anyone since I am undercover and always have to keep a fake personality with a poker face.ha! who cares atleast I don't look like the that guy who dresses like Joker'.Batman never beats that guy,ha! probably he needs comedy in his life since he is always too serious,you ever wonder why Batman has no romance.'Serena slowly raises her pouch,turning it upside down and what came out pouring where needles and a thread.'What!she is screwing with us right now,needles and a thread,do u want to die lady,jeez didn't u say Serena was a pro at this competition so why the dumb show we getting,many murmurs and concerns could be heard and some of the crowd attendants yell and boo her.

I mean come on it's pretty understandable right guys, here's a girl with a shrinking ability even if she shrinks that needle she can't do much damage,is she planning on being funny.

However what happens next wasn't funny in any way, leaving many looking at a horror scene.All it took was a second to see a giant needle through Jade's body.**Well that training paid off,(smiles Serena)**.She turns towards Ice T,'so what's it going to be Ice T,u sure u don't want to give up.

Somewhere in a city called Champions vanile. A red haired lady with a poker face,is being teased by a lady bearing similar resemblance.'It seems your champion has died only in his first tournament.'He isn't my champion,I don't think he even has the potential to go far,just look how he died only the first in the only tournament he ever participated in.'came such an indifferent reply.
