As soon as her voice fell, she suddenly raised several talismans in her hand and threw them out.

These talismans turned into smoke in the air before being replaced by figures that floated there in the air.

There were several demons that appeared in the air around her.

However, these were different from the yokais that were gathered in front of the shrine.

These were familiars that she had summoned to help her in battle.

When these familiars appeared, there was also a powerful pressure that came with them.

It was so strong that even a human like me could feel it.

The familiars glared at the yokai gathered in front of the shrine before saying…

"Is this really all that there is?"

"This isn't even a warm up, it's too boring."

"Then can you guys take care of it for me? I don't want to break a nail."

Blatant disdain, that was the stance that they had in front of these yokais.

When the yokai heard this, all of them revealed looks of rage as they stared at Kyoko and the familiars on the shrine. They were angry about being looked down on like this, but that didn't mean that they charged forward in their rage.

Finally, Kyoko stopped them by saying, "Alright, that's enough taunting them. It's clear that they aren't falling for it."

The familiars stopped talking smack about the yokais and fell silent, but they were ready to fight at any moment.

The oni that was standing in front of the shrine suddenly said, "So, it's the legendary onmyoji herself. It seems like we're quite the big deal for someone like you to come and deal with us."

Kyoko didn't say anything as she looked at the oni with a smile on her face.

The oni just narrowed his eyes to look at her before saying, "Then shall we?"

It didn't seem like he had any fear in his voice when he said this even though he was facing this pressure.

As expected of a legend himself.

After all, this was the oni that had once faced Momotaro.

But before either side could clash, Kyoko suddenly knitted her brows as one of her talismans suddenly floated over in front of her. She reached out to grab this talisman before holding it up in front of her.

There was something that was like a blue flame that came out of this talisman.

The tip of this flame suddenly moved forward and pointed at the group of yokais in front of her which caused Kyoko to knit her brows even more.

She looked right at this flame and muttered to herself, "No, this can't be right…why would he be here?"

The oni and the yokai were completely confused when they heard this.

They all looked at each other as if they were asking one another what was happening, but not a single person knew what was happening.

However, when I saw this flame, I couldn't help feeling strange.

That was because it felt like this flame was pointing at me…

It even felt like there was some kind of special connection to this flame that came from deep inside of me.

After looking at this flame for a bit, Kyoko suddenly revealed a fierce look as she roared, "What did you do to him!?"

The oni and the yokai were even more confused since they had no idea what she was talking about.

But this just served to incite Kyoko even more.

When she saw that none of them took responsibility for what they did, she said, "Since you're not willing to take responsibility for your actions, then don't blame me for being ruthless!"

Right after she said this, she roared, "Hime, clear the path!"

The female oni pulled out the spiked club on her back and without any hesitation, she charged forward.

The oni was surprised to see this, but he also didn't hesitate to pull out the club that had been at his waist to meet her.

Their two clubs clashed and…there was no hesitation as the oni was blown away.

As the oni was blown away, there was a powerful blue glow that appeared around Hime.

It was as if she had exploded with power the moment that she had smashed her club into the oni.

The oni was thrown right back into the crowd of yokai and they were pushed away with it. The weaker ones were scattered into nothing by the blue energy that was around the oni and the stronger ones were carried off their feet and flew with the oni as it flew backwards.

Hime looked down at her club and then looked back at Kyoko as if she was shocked by her own power, but Kyoko didn't even look at her as she charged forward.

Seeing Kyoko charge forward, Hime immediately came to her side and cleared the path for her.

Seeing the rampage the two of them went on, the yokai were terrified of the two of them. Some of them didn't even try to fight the two of them going on a rampage and immediately turned to run away.

But when I saw the two of them rampaging like this, I couldn't help being shocked.

That was because they were coming right in my direction.

I had no idea what I should be doing at this moment.

Each swing of Hime's club cleared a large area in front of them and it didn't take long before they were completely surrounded by yokai. However, Kyoko didn't stop for even a moment as she kept moving forward while looking for something.

Finally, the large patch of yokai in front of us was cleared out and we were revealed.

The moment that Kyoko saw me, she immediately charged in my direction.

The tanuki misunderstood this and thought that they were coming at us, so it jumped in front of me as if it was sacrificing itself for me.

When Kyoko and Hime saw this, Hime immediately raised her club to smash the tanuki.

I didn't know why…but my body started moving forward before I could stop myself.
