Chapter 41 : Bitterness

In the luxurious two-floor European mansion, a white limited edition porshe drove through the gate mansion, encircling the outdoor fountain, it stopped right in front of the giant door.

If he could, he really didn't want to come home. Home? He felt that it was like hell. Home is where your heart belongs to. However, he didn't have that luxury to enjoy that. If not for his parents lived there, he would never step into this mansion, big yet as cold as artic.

Both Mr and Mrs Zhou could feel the indifferent Zhou Sheng. He was used to be cheerful son when he was home though he was a very decisive chairman outside. However, since a year ago, when he was forced to marry Zheng Yue Ying because she was pregnant after the whole scheme.

"You are back.", Mrs Zhou stated when she saw Zhou Sheng walked through the living room where Mr Zhou, Mrs Zhou, and Zheng Yue Yong were gathered.

"Hmm", he hummed without throwing a glance at them. His mood was bad enough to indulge to Zheng Yue Wan's request, and looking at the evil woman smiled happily while talking to his parents,he felt exremely awful.

He climbed up the stairs and got into his room through that evil woman's. He immediately locked the door to stop her coming into his room without permission a week ago. After freshened up, he walked to the European style window, he looked at the view outside. Looking at the few stars in the sky, he remembered Zheng Yue Wan had ever said "My dream is to build a house on the beach so I can sunbathe in the morning, and look at the stars at night."

Zhou Sheng smiled thinking of how happy she was when explaining her dreams. She didn't know that he immediately asked people to build the house. Sometimes he didn't know how he could bewithched by this state, the stated that he was willing to do anything only to see her smile.

Suddenly there were knocks that intervened his mind. "Zhou Sheng", he could hear that woman's voice. He needed to suppress his emotions whenever he heard her voice. He seemed to have a sudden impulse to strangle her to death whenever he heard her calling him. "Ah Sheng"

When he heard how she called him, he immediately opened the door. 'BANG'

"Don't call me by that name", he squeezed her neck as if he wanted her to die at that very moment.

"Zhou...She...ng"

He released his grip and got back into the room. No matter what, the child in her abdomen was his child. 'Xiao Ying said that she wanted to see her nephew/niece, then I should grant her wish.'

The loud bam of the door also a sign for Zheng Yue Ying to stop her pretense of being strong. She leaned to the wall and slowly slipped down to the floor. Her eyes were red. Her tears were at verge of the edge, but she forced her tears to sipped back. Her eyes were full of hatred and self-mocking.

She couldn't believe that her sincere love for one sole man had to be stepped into ashes. She had been eyeing him since she met him accidentally two years ago. At that time, he was invited to be a speaker in one of the events that her friend organized. She was sitting in the audience seats while mesmerized by his every action. From then on, she promised herself to marry him.

Thus, she avoided the blind dates that her father arranged and asked that shamless girl to substitute her. Who knew that the prostitute's daughter could catch his eyes? He even chose that Zheng Yue Wan over her, the real young miss of Zheng, after he found out the real identity of Zheng Yue Wan and her deception.

She laughed mocking at herself. She even had to lower herself to the state of scheming against them when she found out that her father agreed Zhou Sheng to marry Zheng Yue Wan because he felt that it was the first and the last thing that he could do for his unplanned daughter. He hated her for her sudden presence that ruined his happy family, but sometimes he pitied her because she didn't choose to born by her mom as well. Zheng Yue Wan had always been sensible, she tried to live without relying the Zheng. Thus, Mr Zheng somehow had a soft spot for her.

Therefore, the whole incident happened. She drugged Zhou Sheng before he met Zheng Yue Wan. She even called the whole family,as well as Zheng Yue Wan the next morning. She arranged so well that even she lowered herself to present her chastity to him, he still decided not to marry her. Not until, she arranged another drama by finding out her pregnancy.

She even arranged to act like she would abort the child that Mr Zhou and Mrs Zhou finally forced Zhou Sheng to marry her because the child in her stomach carried the Zhou's blood.

How pathetic? She couldn't decribe how she felt. However, she declared that she wouldn't let the two lived happily as long as she was alive since they had brought unexplainable bitterness into her life.
