Chapter 13 : Are you my backer ? (2)

As soon as Han Zhi Fan who had Tang Wei in his arms followed by Wen Li got into the helicopter, it flew to the nearest hospital there. Fortunately, the helicopter had always prepared packs of warmer in the winter. Tang Wei who was shivering was immediately warmed up by the warmers and since she was still in Han Zhi Fan's arms, she could feel his warmth as well.

Tang Wei actually planned to ask Han Zhi Fan to put her down when they got into the helicopter, but looking at the dark and long face of him prevented her to utter any words. Thus, she closed her eyes and pretended to sleep in his arms.

On their way to the hospital, Wen Li had made a call to the hospital so the chief of the hospital, along with several doctors and nurses, had been waiting for them when they arrived. Tang Wei was immediately taken care of and sent to the VIP room.

The chief of the hospital was approached by Han Zhi Fan when he came out of the room. "How is she?", Han Zhi Fan asked plainly like the patient had nothing to do with him. Wen Li who was beside him would be surprised if he had just worked with him for a while. No one knew better than him that the calm and unattached big boss was the scariest version of him. Wen Li secretly sighed for the crew's life and death.

"She is fine now. She seemed to have known beforehand which she had had some herbal medicine to warm up her body. If only she didn't make any preventions, then she might have suffered hypothermia.", explained the old man. "You can transfer her back to Beijing after she wakes up."

During her rest, Tang Wei had a dream. She saw that a beautiful woman with brown sweater and red scarf around her neck holding a little girl who had a bunny in her other hand. The little girl was wearing a white dress with little pink jacket outside, her hair was tied into pigtails.

Han Zhi Fan who had been sitting by her side could hear her murmuring in her low voice, "Mom..mom..mom.." Han Zhi Fan's eyes darkened as he heard her calling again and again before he held her hand and patted her head lightly. "Jiao jiao", he called her as gently as he could, feared that he would surprise her.

Suddenly, Tang Wei's eyes opened widely. She hadn't recovered from her dream so she didn't realize that there was someone beside her before a gentle voice asked her "Did you have nightmare?". That voice caught her attention which made her turn her head toward the source and she was a little perplexed to find Han Zhi Fan sitting on the bedside. However, she didn't react much as she only nodded to answer his question.

"It's okay, it's only a dream. Nothing will happen.", Han Zhi Fan caressed her cheek which electrocuted her whole body. Looking at her rigid body, Han Zhi Fan asked another question to melt the situation "Do you want to drink?"

As Tang Wei felt a little thirsty, she nodded. She was about to get into sitting position when Han Zhi Fan helped her to position herself and he even held the cup for her. "You'll be transferred to the Imperial Hospital after the doctor does another check-up." She knew that Han Zhi Fan only informed her things that he had arranged so she only nodded in reply.

Han Zhi Fan who put back the cup on the table, then pressed the bell to call the doctor was caught on guard. His hand was caught by soft and tiny hand. The hand was cold which automatically stiffened his whole body.

"Are you the one that made Lu Jinnian look for me four years ago?", Tang Wei asked with her husky voice. She asked another question when she got no reply after a moment "Are you... my backer?"

Han Zhi Fan knew that she was smart and he knew that sooner or later she would find out. Moreover, he had announced to many that she was his woman, but he was still shocked when she asked him right after she woke up.

He looked at the woman who was leaning on the headboard. Her eyes twinkling as if they were the stars in the night sky. "I hope you are." When he heard her saying that with her mouth, his heart skipped irregularly. Fortunately, he was saved by the doctor who came to check her as he had pressed the bell a moment before.

The doctor and nurse did their job, but the two people seemed not to mind anyone as if the world was only both of them. They looked into each other eyes until the doctor pulled them back to the reality. "Ms. Tang is fine, she can be transferred."

By that, Tang Wei was admitted to the VIP room of Imperial Hospital three hours later. Doctor Wu came not long after she finished changing to the patient suit. He had the brightest smile when he asked "Ms Tang, have you changed your mind?"

Tang Wei who was intelligent enough knew what Doctur Wu meant, but he directly asked so as soon as they met meant that he was informed before. Tang Wei looked at Han Zhi Fan who was sitting on the sofa and Wen Li who stood beside him. Her eyes turned into fiery fires as they were ready to burn him wholly.

Doctor Wu who sensed the atmosphere was not right immediately tried to meditiate. "Ms Tang, it is better to cure it as soon as possible since that you have experienced the symptoms." Doctor Wu still felt that Tang Wei didn't flinch even a bit after his persuasion so he bet to try once more "Moreover, you have got the matched donor. You guys can do the surgery as soon as your body is ready."

Although Tang Wei didn't look Doctor Wu directly, but she could see him with her peripheral vision. She saw that Doctor Wu looked at Han Zhi Fan when he said 'you guys'. 'Does he mean that....' Tang Wei didn't continue her words in her mind instead she frowned at Han Zhi Fan "you..."

"You guys can leave first.", Han Zhi Fan said as he knew that Tang Wei had made her guess. Both Wen Li and Doctor Wu immediateky left the war zone.

When the door was closed, Han Zhi Fan walked closer to Tang Wei who had been sitting on the bed side. He picked her legs and covered them with the blanket before he sat on the bedside.

Tang Wei who was leaning on the headboard looked at him quietly. "Be good, listen to doctor and do the surgery.", Han Zhi Fan caressed her cheek.

"Explain", Tang Wei turned her head to the other side to avoid his caressing.

"You guess it right." Han Zhi Fan sighed.
