Chapter 107 : The Consequence

The day passed as if nothing had ever happened between the two, as if it was a dream which was too real. It was a simple misunderstanding, but perhaps they were just too insecure of themselves.

It was the morning after a non-verbal confession of love. Lu Jinnian was awaken by the sun light that sipped through the curtain. He saw the scene that he had longed for. In his embrace, Qian Luo was sleeping soundly. Her brows were relaxed.

Since the woman was angered the night before,it took a toll for Lu Jinnian to coax her. She was then asleep comfortably like she always used to in his embrace.

He gently put a kiss on her forehead, then her eyes, down to her nose before her plump lips.

He was afraid of waking her up, so he stopped before the fire burn inside him. He slowly got off the bed and directly went to freshen him up.

Coming out from the bathroom, he saw that Qian Luo was sleeping deeply. He then decided to go out and buy breakfast for both of them. He took the car key and his wallet which were on the side table.

Since there were typhoon the night before, most of the townpeople were busy of cleaning up thus they didn't open up their business. Lu Jinnian then had to drive to the city centre in order to buy a breakfast.

In the villa, Qian Luo awoke. She saw that there was no one beside her. She quickly got off and looked for Lu Jinnian. When she couldn't find him in the villa, she rushed out to see his car and disappointment welcomed her.

'Perhaps, he went out for awhile'

She waited for half hour anxiously and there was no shadow of Lu Jinnian could be seen. In those hours, she searched for a note of him, unfortunately there was none.

She tried to call him, but the phone couldn't go through.

She smirked. 'He always does what he thinks right without taking me into his concern'

She then decided to leave the villa. By that time, she also decided to not loving him anymore. Even if she still loved him, she didn't want to make any effort any longer. She was utterly tired, loving him.

The moment when Lu Jinnian arrived home, he found no one.

He didn't blame her. It was all his fault. He feared too much that losing someone he loved. That was his consequence.
