Chapter 101 : Let bygone be bygone

It had been months since Lu Jinnian disappeared At first, Qian Luo felt a little lost. She used to see his news anywhere for years. A man that was initially the centre of her life suddeny disappeared, she somehow felt empty.

However, life must go on. She still had book to publish, script to write and so on. Though the film project was in halt since Tang Wei as the female lead was in recovering state, it had been on track a month ago when Tang Wei herself contacted the film crew. Thus, Qian Luo as the scriptwriter was too busy to care for other things.

As for the film project which was in halt didn't affect anyone since the sponsor of the film was Han Zhi Fan and the project was a special project backed by Tian Yi Entertainment. With these two big bosses in charged, who dared to say anything about Tang Wei ? So everything was under control.

Back to Qian Luo's life which has been so plain that days by days seemed to be so fast. Thankfully, Su Yi Cheng was always there for her. He had moved to live next door so he always invited her to dinner.

They could be said to live together, except living under the same roof.

For the past few months, Qian Luo had been more cheerful than before. Though she was not as cheerful as she was in university, she smiled more often and laughed occasionally. For someone who suffered depression, her mental state had improved a lot.

As for her relationship with Su Yi Cheng, she was not that resistant any longer. She slowly received the affection that he gave. There was once when they were both sipping the wine that Su Yi Cheng bought, Qian Luo initiatively hugged him.

"Ah Cheng, thank you."

"You know that I do not need your gratitude."

"I know." She then continued "Give me some time."

Su Yi Cheng who heard what she said was a startled. He pushed her so that they were seperated by arm. However, his hands were clearly gripped her arms hard. "You say it one more time."

"I can't say that I do not love him anymore, but I'll try my best to let the past be in the past."

"It's more than enough. Your effort is more than enough."

Since then they had been living happily although Qian Luo could sometimes zone out when she was alone, or she could wake up from the dream of her being choked by Lu Jinnian previous years ago.

Slowly but sure, there was no more Lu Jinnian in Qian Luo's world. But no one knew about the future. No one could predict it. There was no definite answer.
