Once Sun Kang heard this, he couldn't help but blink his eyes many times. It was too sudden that he couldn't almost comprehend what was going on.

The technique that Ji Fun used and was called the 'Arctic Dominating Axe', was one of the five techniques of the Shadowless Cleaving Axes for the Common Law Warrior stage. While the technique that Sun Kang used, and was called the 'Dragon Serpent Devourer', was one of the thousands of experimental, low-level techniques that he formed himself back at the Blessed Tyrant Planet when he was at the Earthly Law Saint stage. And if one recalls, this is the cultivation stage that the Sect Master of the Great Dragon-Elephant sect was presently at.

Without wasting more time after the golden axe cut apart his dragon-serpent attack like paper, Sun Kang immediately unleashed two more attacks of the same technique, where each of them exited his left and right palm before blazing off at great speeds towards the incoming axe. And this time, the attacks were three folds larger than the one he sent out earlier.

Sun Kang had actually used more Origin Energy in these attacks to increase their masses and denseness, which will in turn heighten the offensive power that the attacks equally possessed.

A second later, the attacks rammed into one another with the golden axe losing most of its strength and luster as the two dragon-serpent attacks that Sun Kang aimed at it, caused more than forty percent of its power to be instantly chipped away.

Then with forty-five percent of its total power left, the axe smashed heavily into the thick protective shield that Sun Kang immediately formed just a few feet in front of him to protect himself from the raging golden axe.

The shield immediately shattered into countless smithereens with the axe shooting towards Sun Kang as it still had about thirty percent of its power left.

At this point, the axe seemed completely unstoppable, since it continued to cut, break and shatter through all obstacles that appeared in front of it to inhibit or stop its movement.

With a loud bang sound instantly ringing out, which was immediately accompanied by a muffled grunt of pain, Sun Kang was furiously flung backwards when his fist that was enveloped by many layers of his violet-colored Origin Energy, suddenly made contact with the axe that still possessed power sufficient enough to cut a few inches deep into refined steel.

However, the axe was stopped this time in its track by the move that Sun Kang used which was called the Nine-Layered Executioner Fist; a move that caused his actual fist to be enclosed by nine illusory fists formed from highly compacted Origin Energy.

"You actually stopped my attack with your measly, fourth-layer Common Law Warrior stage? That's totally amazing. Let's see if you can stop this one!"

Ji Fun who was rather astonished that Sun Kang could take his really powerful attack head-on, immediately unleashed another attack before Chu Cheng who was also deeply astounded by Sun Kang's genius-like feat could move to stop him.
