After slaying the goblin warrior, John went to check on the woman's condition. She seemed dazed, completely oblivious to what had just happened.

Due to certain magic, ordinary people couldn't cross through the portals to other worlds, but monsters could drag humans in.

Jon found a blanket and draped it around the woman.

"Wait here for a bit. I'll take you out once I've dealt with all the goblins here," he said softly to her.

It seemed to snap the woman back to reality. She looked at Jon for a long time. Despite his face being mostly hidden under a baseball cap and his body covered in foul-smelling blood, she recognized him as human.

When she saw the corpse of the goblin warrior beside her, she realized someone had come to save her, and she began to sob uncontrollably, covering her face with her hands.

Jon didn't have time to comfort her.

He opened the system panel to check his current stats.

[Host: Jon]

[Class: Poison Master]

[Level: 6]

[Constitution: 6]

[Spirit: 8]

[Strength: 7]

[Agility: 8]

[Skills: C-level Healing Potion (can add toxins), C-level Painkiller (can add toxins)]

[Unique Skills: S-level Poison Resistance, S-level Poison Penetration, S-level Toxin Extraction, S Toxin Integration, A-level Potion Crafting]

Looking at his panel, John felt his current strength was sufficient for now and decided to boost his constitution a bit.

Every basic attribute was crucial after all.

Constitution determined an Awakener's stamina;

Spirit was related to spells and focus-required skills, including John's potion crafting;

Strength was the basic attack power, vital for warriors and berserkers, with some skills requiring a certain strength level to activate, which also correlated with constitution;

As for Agility, it was a priority for classes like rogues and archers.

Ideally, attributes should be balanced, but depending on personal combat style, one might favor a certain attribute.

John's plan was to follow a balanced path. As a Poison Master, his strength relied on the toxins he collected, so he had no specific demands.

[Constitution: 6---->7]

After allocating his points, John could feel his body's immediate response. Having just fought, he no longer felt as worn out.

It was time to move on and end the fight quickly, as it wouldn't be long before the armed police surrounded the portal from the other side. To keep his identity hidden, John needed to leave before the area was sealed off.

John left the chamber, the hallway littered with human skeletons, some still with flesh clinging to the bones, looking fresh. These were likely victims of the goblins.

They consumed the men and imprisoned the women as tools for breeding.

sometimes feels that killing these goblins directly is simply too cheap for them.

Suddenly, he had a better idea.

Over the past few days, he had concocted several potions, some of which were nearing their expiration date... It was the perfect opportunity to conduct some inhumane experiments on these beasts, a fitting reward for their actions.

Venturing deeper, John discovered another hidden chamber.

Gently lifting the curtain, he found it was filled with young goblins not yet grown to adulthood. These creatures could rapidly mature in just a few months.

[Level 1: Goblin Younglings.]

John stepped inside and noticed a particularly bulky goblin youngling in the corner of the room, engrossed in devouring something. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was feasting on the body of another of its kind.

Without hesitation, John ended its vile existence. Most of the goblin younglings were still asleep, unaware of the impending doom.

Two minutes later, John left the cave.

John picked up the pace. This was a Level B dungeon, significantly more challenging than Level C, housing around eighty goblins in total.

However, he had already dealt with most of the lesser enemies, leaving only a few elite monsters remaining.

John wanted to gather them together for a quick resolution. He deliberately made some noise to attract the goblins.

That's when he encountered a goblin warrior guarding the entrance, dozing off with its weapon in hand.

[Level 3: Goblin.]

John severed the goblin's legs. As it howled in agony, crawling back into the cave to call for help, various roars echoed from the cave, signaling the presence of an intruder.

In no time, a horde of goblins, followed by two slightly higher-level warrior goblins, charged out.

One of the goblin warriors roared, leading the charge of the lesser goblins.

John pulled out a bottle of healing potion mixed with snake venom and threw it at the group. A goblin shattered the bottle, causing the potion to splash over many goblins.

The active agents in the potion quickly triggered the snake venom.

The front-line goblins fell to the ground in an instant, writhing in pain. In just a few seconds, he stopped struggling and his death was terrifying.

The remaining fearless goblins, stepping over their fallen comrades, advanced towards John.

But for John, they were simply too weak and insignificant, like ants.

John swung his sword horizontally, and the heads of the two goblins charging towards him were severed from their necks, flying out directly.

Kicking away another attempting a sneak attack, John precisely stabbed it in the throat. He then threw another bottle of snake venom-infused healing potion into the crowd.

Despite their recklessness, the goblins were now terrified. Their squad of twenty-five had quickly diminished by twenty.

They finally realized this human was not like those they could easily bully and slaughter days before. He was an unbeatable presence.

[Constitution: 6---->7.]

John quickly allocated his points, not even needing to check the system panel, simply performing the action in his mind.

Seeing the situation turn dire, the two goblin warriors exchanged quick glances and retreated.

John, stepping over the corpses, coated his sword with the snake venom potion, and quickly pursued. He struck one of the goblin warriors in the back.

The goblin warrior stumbled, realizing it couldn't escape, and turned to face John in a fight to the death. The goblin warrior was much stronger, able to dodge some of John's attacks with precision, but only able to dodge - no matter how the goblin swung its cleaver, it couldn't harm John in the slightest.

Several seconds later, the venom began to take effect, causing the goblin warrior to stagger. With just a moment of hesitation, its head was swiftly cleaved off by John.

John pursued the fleeing goblin, soon entering a vast cavern, a natural underground grotto about the size of two or three basketball courts.

As expected, this was probably the boss room.

The next moment,

a tremendous roar echoed, and the cavern seemed to tremble. A massive goblin, nearly three meters tall and clad in steel armor, emerged from the depths of the cave.

[Level 8: Elite Goblin.]

"Roar roar roar roar roar roar roar--------"The giant elite goblin roared furiously at John.

"Well, just a guard dog, huh?" John wasn't impressed.

John didn't see the boss's label and looked disdainfully at the elite goblin not far away. It seemed that this guy was just the boss's personal guard.
