A Normal Day

Mc POV

Hi, my name is Orson. I am just a typical first-year university student working part-time for extra money. My parents send me money, which helps me clear some of my monthly expenses. They live in the countryside while I am in Toronto, living in an average apartment near my university. We have our farms and my parents are supporting so they have cleared all my fees, and will give me money if I ever need it.

However, I want to stand on my own so I reject their money still, they send some saying 'It is our love for you' nullifying all the arguments.

Currently, I am walking back to my apartment after work, it is late night. But suddenly a loud noise came from the sky.

*Roar*

*Roar*

After hearing it I was startled.

'What is this noise, did a tiger run from the zoo.'

But suddenly another voice came from the sky. The voice sounded neither like a man nor like a woman, it was very confusing.

"Hello, creatures of 2B 366 or as you creatures say 'earth'. "

3rd POV

Everyone on the street stopped doing whatever they were doing and looked at the sky. The shock was lucid on their face, most of the people were thinking of it as a prank.

After hearing the roar they were startled as it could have been a lion or tiger, the voice after the roar made them think it was a prank. Some fanatics were thinking it was the voice of god.

Again the voice spoke.

"Your planet has finally reached the age, now the process of evolution

will begin."

After this, a mechanical voice spoke.

"Evolution process starting in 10 seconds."

"Evolution process has been started"

After the countdown ended everyone has a blue colored screen pop up in front of them, which others were not able to see. For 98% of people on the planet, it contained two options which are:

High Human: A human who just got connected to the energy. This type of human can gather and utilize some of the energy through his/her body. Probability of evolution: <50% [depends on human's gene quality] (can further evolve)

Tech-Human: A human who can merge with tech gadgets and gain power from that gadgets. This type of human is also able to create advanced tech and then merge with it. Probability of evolution: <50% [depends on human's gene quality] (can further evolve).

Just in five minutes, social media started flooding, as some people and every otaku has already chosen their option and became evolved and gained powers.

MC's POV

At first, I was skeptical after the screen popped up in front of me, some people on the street started changing and conforming that this is not a prank. After seeing this, I started running toward my apartment, reason because there could be a psycho who want to test his/her powers and also there could be zombies, I didn't see one but bad luck doesn't come after knocking.

After entering my apartment I locked it and entered my bedroom. Just as I was going to open my laptop, my mobile rang. It is a call from my mom, I accepted it.

From the other side, a voice full of concern came.

" Son are you okay"

" Yes Mom, I am totally fine."

After hearing that I am okay my mother become relived

"ohh thank god, and the reason I called you is because there is news showing some weird people gaining powers and attacking people."

After assuring, they were also okay, I asked if they have accepted the option or not, and she said they haven't then I told her to wait before accepting and she agreed, as it was more sensible to wait and access before taking any action. And said our goodbyes.

After the call, I started searching for it on the internet and find that everyone has two options which are high-human and tech-human. Seeing that everyone has got the option to choose, I became confused as there is only an error sign in front of me instead of options.

[Author: Because those two percents haven't revealed any information yet there is no news of any other option]

Suddenly the blue screen started ringing.

"resolving the error. Failed"

This happened more than a hundred times and my head started aching and listening to it again and again, but suddenly it stopped.

3rd POV

Unknown place

An extremely beautiful woman with long white hair, pink eyes, d-cups, and a slightly big ass, wearing a shirt with a bunny logo and pajama with small bunnies on it, is sleeping on a bed, suddenly she opens her eyes and a melodious voice so enchanting that even gods would go crazy hearing it, could be heard.

"Hmmm... Interesting should I help him."

"I don't have anything better to do and it will also be very entertaining there."

And then she snaps her fingers and disappears.

Back To MC

After seeing that the blue screen was no longer there he was both happy and sad. He was more sad than happy as he would not even get the option to evolve as failing it was now a whole other topic.

Just as he was thinking this, a voice came from behind.

"Could you turn around"

Instead of being startled he barely controlled himself from becoming lust crazy monster (literally speaking). Controlling himself he turned around and saw the most beautiful... no saying her beautiful will be like disrespecting her, woman. She looks like someone in her mid-twenties with long white hair, pink eyes, big boobs, and a perfect ass. Again Orson barely controlled himself, next thing that surprised him the most, she is wearing a shirt and pajamas with bunnies.

Then the woman became surprised as she thought she would have to use a spell to control him from becoming lust crazed, as the number of people who could control themselves around her can be counted on one hand. She never reduced her beauty as she think doing so would be a disgrace to her.

After controlling himself he asked

"Who are you?"

Not showing her surprise she answered

"My name is Alina and I am here to help you."

"Help me. For what"

"To help you evolve and you have no other option than me as even Eneria is not able to solve your problem"

"Eneria??"

"Eneria is the blue screen that gives the option for people to evolve. So would you like to take the help or not?"

In a second he asked

"What is the catch" He fully well knows that there is no free food in the world.

With an evil smile, she said

"You will become my slave."

Hearing this he thought of running as he was sure that he would not be able to fight this woman. Just as he was preparing he hears a snap.

*snap* *snap*

"pfft"

"hahaha.. the face you made is really funny and no need to be cautious it was just a joke"

'That was a joke, I just said hello and bye to heart attack, and what are those pictures for.' After calming down he saw her cutely laughing face which made his face tomato red.

"What is the catch." He asked seriously after controlling his blush.

"You are no fun. And the catch is " She took a pause of a few seconds after saying this with a serious face.

This made Orson really tense and then it came.

"The catch is I will live with you starting today"

This startled Orson it was not like he was against it, he would even pay her to stay with this beautiful girl but the real question was why. Just as he was going to ask it, she started speaking in a tone that made it clear, there will be no further questions asked.

"Now sit in a meditative position with your back facing me"

Orson complied with it as there was no loss for him instead, he was gaining from it.
