1 A Dream?

My name is Nathan, Nathan Black and today is my 18th birthday. Well everyone will be excited about their birthday because they will party and will receive gifts but that is not the case with me because i am an orphan. I don't have any friends nor any relatives. i was 4 years old when i got to know that my parents leave me at the church gate with just a slip on which my name was written. I was a normal children but from that day onward my behavior got a sudden change, i stopped talking to people this is why i do not have any friends.

There are policies in orphanages, if you are 18 years old and no one has adopted you yet then you have to leave the orphanage.

I packed my luggage which is a pair of clothes and a thin mattress which was donated to orphanage through a charity. Well how lucky i am to leave my orphanage on my birthday. Sometimes i think why my parents left me but i do not mind it now, my main problem now is to find a place to live and a job to feed myself or i will die just by starvation.

I was wandering on the streets, this is my first time to leave my orphanage. i was amazed to see the running cars on the road and the shiny tall buildings made of glass, i was watching everything here and there, suddenly i bumped into someone and fell backwards on my bum, when i looked up, there was a man with a group of four people all with a tattoo on their neck. He was angry that i bumped into him, his mouth twitched and he kicked me... i hold my stomach tight,he crouched and hold my neck and slapped me there was a drop of blood flowing out of corner of my lips.

I told him that i accidentally bumped in him it was not my intention but he again slapped me and then he asked me to hand out all of my money, but i don't have any money how can i give him something which even i don't have. I told him that i do not have any money but upon hearing this his eyes flashed a crimson red color. He was enraged, he and his friends started beating me i was crying then he threw me in front of a running truck and then my vision turned black.

He was still Young, Healthy and good looking. He can have a bright life ahead of him if he work hard, but it was all about to disappear.

Nathan felt a cold sensation all over his body. He slowly opened my eyes but what greeted him was a dark space there was nothing, the space was shapeless and endless. Nathan was dumbfounded, he got panicked.

Ho....How could this be? What is going on? Where am i? How did i end up here? wasn't i on the streets? Oh! now i am remember, those hooligans beat me up. Did i die? Am i dead? I don't wanna die. NO it can't be, i just turned 18 today how can i die? I have not seen the world yet, i am still a virgin. He was sad and hopeless after knowing that he was dead.

I looked around me but i can not see anything, i can not even feel my hands and legs. Am i a soul now? i have read a few novels about reincarnations, am i being reincarnated now? Will i meet a god now? Are god even exist?

No none of this is real, everything i am seeing or everything i experienced must be a dream. Yes, it must be a dream. But is it really a dream? This can not be how it ends....

The TV was on and the news was saying that a body had been found in the street of new city last afternoon. The name of the dead person was Nathan Black around 18 years old. According to the Police the killer was a group of hooligans that the police was chasing for some days.
