Unexpected Announcement

After the intense magical duel between Levi and Jameson came to an end, the audience erupted into cheers and applause. Levi emerged victorious, much to the delight of his supporters and the chagrin of Jameson's.

Amidst the chaos and excitement, Mark could be seen making his way through the crowd toward Levi's side. He weaved his way past students and teachers alike, his eyes locked on his friend.

As he reached Levi's side, Mark threw his arms around him in a tight embrace. "Congratulations, Levi! That was incredible!" he exclaimed, his voice filled with excitement.

Levi grinned in response, his face flushed with the adrenaline of the battle. "Thanks, man. It was a tough fight, but I'm glad I came out on top."

Mark released his friend from the embrace and stepped back, a look of awe on his face. "I can't believe how fast you were moving out there. It was like you were dancing or something."

Levi chuckled at the comparison. "Yeah, I've been practicing a lot lately. I wanted to be sure I was ready for this."

Mark nodded approvingly. "Well, it definitely paid off. You were amazing out there."

As the two friends chatted, the rest of the audience began to disperse, slowly making their way back to their dormitories and classes.

Eventually, Mark and Levi also made their way back to their dormitories, discussing their plans for the following day.

"I have an early class tomorrow, so I should probably head to bed soon," Levi said, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

Mark nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I do too. We should probably get some sleep."

The two friends bid each other goodnight and headed to their respective rooms. As Levi settled into bed, he couldn't help but think about the duel and the incredible rush of magic he had experienced.

As he drifted off to sleep, he couldn't help but feel grateful for his friendship with Mark, who had been there to support him every step of the way.

The next morning, the sun shone brightly through the window of Levi's dormitory, casting a warm glow across the room.

Levi stretched his arms and yawned, feeling refreshed after a good night's sleep. He got up and began to get ready for the day, washing his face and brushing his teeth.

As he dressed for class, he thought back to the duel the previous day and the rush of adrenaline he had experienced. It had been an incredible feeling, and he was eager to keep practicing and honing his skills.

Levi grabbed his bag and headed out of his dormitory, making his way across the campus to his first class of the day. As he walked, he saw Mark waiting for him outside of their classroom.

"Hey, man," Mark said, grinning. "Ready for class?"

Levi returned the grin. "As ready as I'll ever be."

The two friends walked into the classroom together, taking their seats and getting out their notebooks and wands. The professor walked in a few minutes later, and the class began.

The professor began by reviewing the previous day's lesson, which had been about defensive spells. Levi took detailed notes, writing down every detail of the various spells that the professor demonstrated, casting them with ease.

As the class progressed, the professor's tone became more serious. "I have an announcement to make," he said, his voice somber.

Levi and Mark exchanged a curious glance, wondering what could be so important.

The professor cleared his throat before continuing. "Tomorrow, all of you will participate in a Wilderness Test. This test is for you to survive in the forest not far from here. To be a great mage, sometimes, you need to experience battles themselves."

The rest of the class passed in a blur as Levi's mind raced with thoughts of the upcoming test. He had always been a good student, but he wasn't sure how well he would do in a real-life situation like this.

As the class ended, Levi and Mark made their way out of the classroom together. "What do you think about the Wilderness Test?" Mark asked, a hint of nervousness in his voice.

Levi shrugged. "I don't know. It could be interesting, but also really dangerous."

Mark nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I'm not sure how well I'll do in a situation like that. But we'll just have to wait and see."

After their classes were finished for the day, Levi and Mark decided to head to the cafeteria to grab some food. They walked through the crowded hallways, chatting and joking as they went.

As they approached the cafeteria, the scent of freshly cooked food wafted out into the hallway, making their stomachs growl in anticipation.

Levi and Mark stepped inside the bustling room, scanning the various food stations for something appetizing. Mark decided to get a salad while Levi opted for a sandwich.

As they made their way to a table, they noticed a group of students sitting in the corner, whispering.

Levi and Mark exchanged curious glances before heading toward their own table. As they sat down, Levi couldn't help but overhear snippets of the conversation from the group of students.

It seemed like they were discussing the Wilderness Test, and some of them seemed very confident about their survival skills, while others were more apprehensive.

After finishing their meal, Levi and Mark made their way back to their dormitories, still discussing the upcoming test.

"I think it's going to be really tough," Mark said, his brow furrowed in worry. "I mean, we don't even know what kind of challenges we're going to face out there."

Levi nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's definitely going to be a challenge. But I think we'll be okay as long as we stick together and stay focused."

Mark smiled weakly. "Yeah, you're probably right. I'm just really nervous."

Levi put a reassuring hand on his friend's shoulder. "Don't worry, man. We'll get through this together."

The rest of the evening passed in a blur as Levi and Mark prepared for the upcoming test. They went over their notes from previous classes and discussed strategies for surviving in the wilderness.

As the night wore on, Levi's mind kept drifting back to the conversation he had overheard in the cafeteria. He couldn't shake the feeling that some of the students were overconfident about their abilities, and that could be a dangerous mindset to have in a situation like this.
