A NEW ADVENTURE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN

God expected Karl to flustered or to show him an embarrassed reaction,but nothing of that sort happened. Instead Karl started rubbing his chin as if he was seriously pondering the thought.

{Hmmmm, I expected more of a reaction from you but you seem to be taking it seriously} God couldn't hide disappointed expression appearing on his face. He knew that humans were simple creatures mostly driven by their lust. But Karl was changing these thoughts of his.

At first he didn't know how a human who had never had any interaction with mana could be able to awaken. Then he wasn't afraid of talking to him even though he realized he was talking to a God.

As God was having his inner monologue, Karl finally decided to speak. And his answer didn't surprise God in a slightest bit.

"Yes, the offer may be quite tempting, but I still don't want to be a hero, the cons outway the pros and it isn't my style. I'm more of a coward then a hero". Karl would be surprised to hear that even though he was saying that he was a coward, no mortal would have the courage to object to God not once but a couple of times. And the tone he was using would have him his head rolling if used towards a Royal or an influential person.

He decided to imprint a certain task on him. "Favour, what kind of favor?" Karl asked in a cautious tone. He knew that he couldn't do anything against God if he decided to do something but he was still paranoid.

Due to him getting influenced by mangas and animes. His every action was always very cautious. He didn't want to be ended up as a fool and get backstabbed.

Seeing the cautiousness in Karl's eyes, God sighed and asked what he wanted. {It isn't anything serious, actually it might be, what I'm asking you is to look after the current hero of the world if you ever get cross paths and if he turned out to be incompetent or strays from his path, just eliminate him. That's all that I ask}.

He said with the most sincere smile on his face, seeing this Karl suddenly had goosebumps all over his body. <No matter how kind they appear, humans are nothing but insects in their eyes,>.

After pondering the thought. Karl decided to accept it. It wasn't anything difficult and Karl had no intention of doing it anyway. <He said if we cross paths,I have no plans of doing such things. and even if I knew I was about to meet the hero, I would simply change my plans and don't meet him>.

<It may seem simple at first but killing a hero would have dire consequences. His respected nation where he was summoned would be out for my blood if not the entire world, even if I explained to them it was Gods order, nobody would believe me. And then I would have to live the rest of life in hiding or till I obtained enough strength to challenge the world.>

After seeing that Karl had accepted his proposal, God asked him,{ Where do you want to go?, The capital of the most powerful nation, the drake kingdom?, or some back water place?}.

"A place where I wouldn't have much problem raising my strength and away from the public eyes". Karl's top priority was to gain knowledge about dradevows and which group to offend or not, and stay low key.

{Well then, Are you ready for your new life?, are you still going to go with the name of Karl Elric?}. after hearing his suggestion, Karl thought that it would be stupid to stick to the same name. Now he was no longer an Elric.

After thinking about it so long he decided on a name that he thought would befit his new adventure. "Call me Hale Francis".
