59 The First Official (I)

"Your company, its founder. It's written that I can meet him. I want to meet him."

"Huh? Oh, that. You're looking at him." Randolph's tone in speaking was bland and indifferent.

He had nearly forgotten about this matter as he was busy inspecting his body and stats, but in retrospect, it was probably the main term in the contract that had convinced the man to sign.

"You… what?" Swaine's mouth hung slightly open in surprise.

"Founder, president, CEO. Whatever you want to call it, I'm it." 

But his surprise didn't last long. Instead, to Randolph's surprise, the brown-haired man merely furrowed his brows for a bit before turning his eyes back to him.

"Well, that works too. Actually, maybe things are even better this way."

"What exactly are you trying to say?" Randolph wrinkled his brow in curiosity.

"The contract, as per its terms, you're supposed to treat me as a potential business partner, right?"

"It is. Your point being?"
